Everybody loves to bash him for that statement but i don't think it's ridiculous at all. If Camo turns out to be fit for the second half of the season (he said that he had rushed his recovery before) then we can add a world-class player to our squad. It's obvious that Camoranesi would be big step forward and it's not like we have any chance of getting VDV or Diego in january as the issue is not only about juve.

I don't get the fuss. It's probably just the guy who said it.

it IS a dumb statement, because this team was still missing something in the middle even when Camo was fit

then again stop dreaming of VDV or Diego cause it won't happen. Did you really expect to have a perfect team put together for the return to A ? With camo we did more than decent, stop crying for Capello's team.

We'll get our creative man in summer, if Secco stops being an ass.

"Our January purchase is Camoranesi" - Ranieri

he also said that Ariaudo could have a shot vs Inter in the return leg of the Coppa Italia. Good way to burn a young player.

Exactly... which is the problem.
Ok now your signature is even better. :D

Our problem goes from lack of decent back up goalies, to lack of good defenders, to lack of creative midfielders, to lack of a decent coach, to lack of a decent board.
Exactly its just...we dont`t need decent coach...that`s the problem. We need an excellent one.

because ...

aren't we linked up with several centerbacks right now ?

Ranieri didn't mean it the way you want to see it. But then again it's easy to pull everything out of context on a forum.
Look, it was a usual stupid Ranieri comment that was pretty funny at the time. The man says some pretty stupid things. They deserve to be laughed at.
