i might sound like a broken record, but there's no point in these talks. marchisio won't ever have a similar contract, he hasn't been an important player for the nazionale for 2-3 years, his constant injuries mean that he's near the end of his career, and the club has no reason to want him out (either release him or sell him for a couple of millions) as his salary is affordable. he's also one of our 3 homegrown players for the league (one of 2 in the cl squad), and since we have a hg quota of 4 to fill, letting marchisio go won't free up any places in the squad either. yes, he might want to end his career in the mls, that sounds reasonable for any over 30, not too fit player, especially since pirlo went there, but other than that, i have the impression that both the player and the club want to see his contract running out.

Personally I want him to stay until he retires, would be poetic to say the least. But if he wants out, I support his decision, and I hope he goes somewhere where he could win a CL. I truly believe he still has a lot to give his health allows it. I don't want him to go to MLS, if he does hopefully at Edmonton FC (my city
