I love our prince as much as u guys, but he has only ever been WC for two seasons when Vidal carried him and now it's like a Liverpool fan living on the glory of decades ago. Marchisio ain't that good in fact never have been, plus he is much older now, plus he does not have Vidal anymore,he is not coming off consecutive 7th places finishes after which expectations of him or his team ain't that big, a healthy marchisio will still warm the bench behind matuidi same and panic.
The only thing I expect of marchisio when he plays is his customary yellow card where he acts like a frustrated washed up old guy trying to keep up and fail. We haven't seen a decent level marchisio in years, I feel for him but it is what it is.
