Agree. Not to mention Pirlo's age. We all saw what happens when Pirlo starts to get fatigued throughout the season and loses effectiveness as a season wears on and with a player as influential to the team as Pirlo is, we can't let this happen as we need him in top form for the big games. Rotating Pirlo and Pogba will allow Andrea to get the rest he really hasn't been getting over the past 2 seasons and will allow Pogba to integrate nicely with Vidal and Marchisio, which IMO even without Pirlo is still one of the most competitive and fiercest midfields in world football.

giggs and beckham are offensive players, they were backed by one of the strongest midfield duo's and excellent fullbacks.

Busquets happened to play at barcelona. He was less in everything compared to 19 y/o pogba and would get humilliated in serie a. However, he played at barcelona who never get tasked to the point where a defensive midfielder is needed. hence the strenght of tiki taki.
Mascherano was 5x better, except passing. busquets, was a good passer, so he played instead. its a unique situation, and i hate barcelona for putting the worlds best defensive midfielder on the bench or central defence, cause their disgusting playstyle didnt need a cdm.

Varane is a good example. Sometimes, he had massive games, such as against messi.

I was merely observing that Pogba will still play a lot (and through that get the chance to continue his development) even if he isn't viewed as part of Juve's strongest team.

By all means claim Pogba should be starting, but don't use his development as an argument for it at this point.

About amauri, i still dont grasp that situation. He has everything to become like cavani. he had a blast at the pinkies, and when he came to juve, he was genuinly excellent in italy and the cl. and then it suddenly stopped.

I've never seen a player go so hard from supreme excellence to absolute shit, in that short notice.

All of the top players started player as young players, even before turning 19. So you're just wrong, typical Italian mentality when 23yo is considered too young to start. That was not the case with Ronaldo, Messi and tons of other players. Pogba is already better than majority of midfielders in Serie A, having him on bench makes no sense if reason being is young age and 'don't rush things'. That's bullshit.

You could have said that if he wasn't already 28 yo when he came. Prior to that he had only one decent season. I still remember my feelings about that purchase. It was obvious we had problems in mid but mgt strengthened already an excellent attack. What a stupid decision in the end it turned out to be.
