25M pounds is how many Euros? Quite a bit. Surely too much for Marchisio. Still, I would be hesitant if we didn't have Pogba and Asamoah, especially Asamoah who naturally fits in as a LCM.

I would sell him for that fee on the condition that it goes straight towards the fee of a top striker. I'm not one for sentimentality really.
about 30M euros

Maybe Conte is willing to consider his sale. Let's be honest with ourselves, he did very little this season, especially in Serie A - coaches for the last few seasons have always been willing to play him out of position meaning they're not sure what his best position is. He's good in bursts but anonymous for most of the time.

theres some truth in this. They always play him in variopus positions because he doesnt excel particularly in one.

 You are harsh.

Marchisio for 25 Million Pounds is a no brainer really; he is a good player, but not some amazing world beater and irreplaceable figure as some of his ardent fanboys will lead you to believe.

Then Asamoah would have to move to the centre (on the bench probably) and we'd need a LWB. A good one would be at least 15 mill, and would still be inferior to Asamoah.

So we weaken the LWB spot and gain a maximum of 10 million by selling Marchisio. Not worth it.

So you agree that he should be a sub if he stays?

If he accepts a sub role then keep him. Otherwise Isla can also play CM.
Um no, how'd you get that? If he goes, Pogba takes his spot and someone takes Pogba's.

Isla as CM... Do you want to be taken seriously? He's already having a hard time getting games at RWB because of his underwhelming performances and you want him as CM?

1- Licht Vidal Pirlo Pogba Asamoah

2 - Isla played some CM at Udinese.

Yeah, we're not talking about who you prefer to start as CM. Point is, if Marchisio goes, he'll have to be replaced.

And now he's at Juve, and he's still not doing well enough to usurp the mighty Padoin as vice to Licht... and that's his best position. So why would you want an under-performing player to play somewhere that he'll be of even less use? As it stands, Giacch and Padoin are preferred there (behind Pogba). Do you like that? Do you want to move them up the pecking order and see them play more games?

Sell and replace with someone.
