The mid was too overcrowded... and he had at least two good runs but only one picked up. Kinda took Asamoah's role by playing out wide when it was around the 1-1 scoreline.

I think his most important role tonight was to cover the gap in the mid defensively, he tracked back a lot when we fucked up the possesion at the front.

Him and Vidal will always suffer when opponents defend with 10 men in their half. They both need space to make their runs to their box.
