did you think zidane and del piero were arrogant because they attempted tricks and flicks when the score was still 0-0 or or when losing?

or when they didn't track back when they lost the ball when the trick didn't work
zidane tracked back, and usually did tricks when backed by another midfielder in case it went wrong.

Del piero historycally didnt track back, but mastered the skill of getting fauled each time he got a trick wrong.

there is a clear diffrence between that and neymar, who wants to humiliate defenders and does his tricks anywere regardless of danger when going wrong

Del Piero used to track back many times, specially when losing ball trying to dribble.

I agree though, Del Piero and Zidane used to dribble and pull tricks at the right moment in the most suitable situation most of the times.

Whereas Ronaldo, Robinho, Neymar etc for instance, they look for it, they put themselves in a position where they have to dribble whereas Del Piero was pulling them out of no where in a classy way.

no matter what defender it was, if del piero got the ball in a for him interesting position, any defender was like "OH FUCK OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT"

where as luchtsteiner just gives his trademark stare of death, Neymar will be rushing home crying to mommy
