Vucinic moving to the left really helped his game.
Yup, it's definitely not a coincidence because Claudio was scoring like crazy with Mirko on the left last year. Vucinic-Marchisio seem to have the best understanding of all our players. Such a shame none of the striking pairings clicks like that.

i remember zidane once getting a 60meter pass, down the byline on the left, onetime controlling it with his heal as high as his hip, and just running past his marker, purely on technique

Messi can die in a fanboyfire, i miss genious like zidane.

On the other side, today we again could watch the magnificent pirlo.
as in, goalkeeper kicks out ball, pirlo runs to it, turns around, and controls it on the top of his shoe, followed by a extremely close control turn.

he was allready 3 meters away before the defender figured out where the hell the ball went.

del piero used to do that to. genious players...

I dont really care what the outside media thinks about Marchisio. Marchisio has always been heavily underrated since the media likes to overhype the likes of Barry, Carrick etc. If the latter were to do what Marchisio did today they will be praised like they are on top of the world

Marchisio is definitely a class of his own and he will continue to do his job quietly and effectively, linking the defence and the attack making crucial tackles and runs. The 2 goals from him consolidated his efforts for the team and he is a future captain for Juventus. We will definitely miss him against Shanktar but I am confident the team will do whatever it takes to take them to the next level. Hopefully Marchisio will score more goals will boost his confidence. There's nothing you can ask for to see a local product growing and developing to be a legend in the club.
