Great, great game by Marchisio. The first half of the first half D) and his game after the second half was immense. The one thing I really like about him is that he keeps the game flowing. He hardly ever hoards the ball, even if he makes the simple ball quite a few times.

I was actually saying to my cousin, while a lot of players were shooting for no reason into English players Marchisio looked to spread it. Keep possession. Obviously if there was a clear chance for a shot he takes it but not when it it pointless.

Marchisio is turning into a WC player. I know that term WC is used very loosely sometime but he's definitely on the cusp of turning into something special. His pass to nocherio was perfect his control and elusiveness is almost Pirlo like. Very proud of his performance today. Grande claudio!!

Is there any stats for this Euro,Alen maybe with his Passes complete and how many times he got the ball taken off him,I just have that calmness when Marchi is with the ball,honestly even more than when Pirlo has the ball,I know Pirlo is capable to do some magical stuff,but he does sometime try to dribble when there are better options available,we saw that in Juve or vs Ireland,so i have like 0.05% nervy doubts when Pirlo has it but 0.02% doubt when its with Marchi,what is his turnover rate?
