Of course I was holding onto it, along with a few others who believed in him while posters where putting up pics of ghosts, stealth fighters and photo shopping his body away to make him invisible. Needless to say, those people have canned it. The "I told you so" is for them, the senseless bashing that went straight to this thread all season last year instead of the other fantastic 10 underachievers that brought us 7th place 2 years running.

Marchisio was a lot of peoples scapegoat around here when there were MUCH worse performers in this team. Then came the bandwagon that people just can't stay away from on here.

Keep on gloating then if you think it is something you should do, I know I will ignore all your posts from now on.

Proud of myself I never gloated before concerning Del Piero. Don't know about posters here haven't followed this thread much but I find gloating is a weak attempt to win arguments or feel better about yourself.

Exactly. I am not by a single bit bothered by it even if it feels like that since I brought it up. But to be honest, I wouldn't give a toss, I usually hunt idiots, where I simply ignore them now. I thought I was doing good towards two members I always liked in Hustini and Ahmed....

No it doesn't. It's totally different from what Cron is doing. He always rubs it when the team don't win but he never admits that he was wrong when we play well.

I had criticized Marchisio a lot and I'm personally not annoyed now that Cameron, Ahmed or Matt take pride in believing in him even when he wasn't as good as he is now because I'm enjoying this moment, I'm enjoying being proven wrong on this matter.

I don't care about being proven wrong, I usually admit my mistake with ease. I criticised Marchisio last season and made lots of ghost jokes because he was actually invisible in most of the games. This season, however, I am extremely happy that he is doing so great but notice how Hustini and Ahmed are gloating contra Matt's simple praising.
