People always ALWAYS defended Amauri for the longest time. He was powerful, bad players around him, tries hard, good at heading, quick, holds the ball up, strong target man...blah blah blah.

Cam, i really don't have the patience to dig up some of your epic altercations with Amauri's former defenders but you certainly did mock them, that much is true. Hell, i remember having a blast reading your counter posts.
Anyway Cam, the simple matter of truth is that Marchisio has had ample time to cement his position in this team. How many years has he had exactly to prove his worth & command a first team spot? Way more time than your beloved Amauri has had.

This argument is so flawed I don't even know where to start B. Marchisio has done just fine, no goals have come from any errors or misplaced passes he has not completed. Last season he had the same passing complete percentage as everyones "best & favorite" midfielder Melo...on Weds he had some bad passes which is bound to happen for pretty much every player bar Pirlo.
His mistakes come under SO MUCH FUCKING scrutiny it's ridiculous. This thread has had so many more complaints & rants since Wednesdays game and hardly any in Chiellini's, DC's, & Mirko's thread. Those 3 were a major reason why we dropped 2 points against Bolognas...nothing Marchisio did or didin't do on Weds was not a reason we dropped points yet everyone LOVES coming here to bitch.
Motta isn't the scapegoat anymore, it's Marchisio. He is everyones favorite excuse.
We could play with marchisio on the bench this weekend and lose 2-0 and people will still come here and be thankful he didn't play. The kneejerking has come to a whole knew & unfounded level its ridiculous. No one is saying that Marchisio is WC but he really hasn't done anything to warrant a place on the bench. Vidal has to earn his starting spot over either Pirlo or Marchisio. Obviously Pirlo isn't getting benched over anyone so it's down to Marchisio and so far we have won 2 with him, and almost a 3rd if it wasn't for the 3 previously mentioned. Claudio has done a fine job protecting Pirlo and RUNNING HIS ASS OFF FOR 90 MINS a game. Again, aside from a few misplaced passes he didn't do anything wrong yet he gets bashed to the ends of the earth when there were 3 other culprits that cost us 2 points and a lone place at the top of the table.

I got bashed in that thread and I do here, so if I get sensitive from time to time then fuck it, don't read my posts.
