True:D

He needs to be used properly
. That's the bottom line. No player will ever "shine" when they are misused for an entire season and/or surrounding by horrible players that naturally bring the team down.
True. I hope he proves me wrong then, because I think he's very fragile as a CM.

Also, I think he'd be suited much better with 4-3-3. We'll play 4-2-4 (or 4-4-2 that's more offensive, whatever) so playing him next to Pirlo in that would be  IMO.

Ok, so let's try this one:

When has Marchisio proved in his career that he should be in our starting eleven?

Don't mention the Inter goal, this means nothing.
This argument is so damn flawed it's ridiculous.

What hasn't he done, exactly? What mistakes has he made? What goals has he conceded? What games has he lost? What mistakes in games has he made to make us lose or concede?

I see no argument posted by anyone that actually resembles an argument that proves them remotely accurate. He isn't flashy as some here think. He does the small things well and does them often, something most players on our team can't do. I will take that kind of player over a flashy player any day of the week. Every team needs a player like this that is guaranteed consistency. You guys speak of consistency and how he is inconsistent.

In a team littered by mistakes from it's players Marchisio made very little and still had the best passing completion in the team. 4 goals, 4 assists as a LM last season when he is a born and bred CM.

He has a small frame, yes...but he is very combative for his size. He can run all day, stays fit with minimal injury and his passing completion was stellar last year (by Juve standards I mean). He completed the most passes last season right next to Melo with 85%. Surround him with a team that knows how to move off the ball, not lose it when they get it, and makes the right decisions you will definitely see his game improve. Guaranteed.

I agree with the 433, but I still think in a 442 he would do well in, probably not as well, but you know what I mean. Place Marchi in a team that has intelligent movement and watch what happens.

It's really strange that how most of the discussion develop here in Juventuz, no difference if its about our player or club, or other teams or even transfer targets. always people divide in two groups and push each other to extremes. At beginning there are reasonable facts and opinions being discussed in both sides, it's interesting, its "discussing" and will widen your view too. but you keep pushing each other and with no time one looks like a dumb fanboy and the other like a blind hater. (no offence, I don't really mean anyone in particular)

I'm no one to tell you this stuff, but this sometimes is just painful to read. If this is a "discussion" forum about Juve, you are doing it wrong. we are suppose to have different opinions and point of views about what happens around the club and we are here to share them. you could be wrong or right, maybe both at a same time even with opposite opinions, still doesn't matter.

This is exactly what happens in most threads, it's entertaining I guess.

Is that a problem for you? Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta > Ambrosini/Flamini, MvB and Boateng/Seedorf, for example. I'm just trying to point out we don't need horses in the midfield to have the control of it.

Agree with the last part.

True.

Rossi was/is the last victim of the whole bandwagon.

The movies/books threads, the pictures one and the WAYDRN are the only safe threads. You have to read Vidal's

Nothing is safe on this forum, I could for example go there a drop an infamous word "religion" in the movies/book threads, and this should be destined to get ugly.

P.S Marchisio was impressive today, but we have to take in considerations the team we faced was below average. They couldn't put two good passes together, or cross our midfield, I will wait and see how Marchisio performs against better opponents.
