don't know why he is the one thats sits back and Sissoko is the one that seems to have the freedom
Because Sissoko can't be trusted to hold his position.

He's going to run around like a headless chicken, so the other midfielder has to stay back and try to plug the gaps.

There's a very good reason why coaches (every single one so far) like this guy: he's the most disciplined player on our team & far more important than people realise.

Just got back and confused.. Why in several probable formation against Bologna, there is Marchisio play as LM.. I know he played LM in Inter match for tactical reason and he played there again against Lecce.. But is something happen to Pepe who played as LM before or Marchi has a good game as LM again against Lecce after he played good game against Inter there?

juve played something bewteen 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 with marchisio beeing the left midfielder.

he adds defensively more then pepe, and is more polished in going forward.

yes, he is better there then pepe

also, del neri dont want to play aquaman at cost of marchisio, so he lets them all (melo, aqua, marchi) play

so far that went pretty well

This is how our midfield looks right now. With Milos taking up a more attacking position than Marchisio.

For his ability he's doing OK, but playing him out left is simply wasting a position.

We brought in all these wingers or supposed wingers, yet we have to use Marchisio out of position.

And folks wonder why Marotta isn't thought of that highly...

I'm against using Marchisio as a left winger even if he is better than Pepe. It just doesn't make sense to me. Marchisio just doesn't fit that type of role well at all. I would like to see a 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 though.
