when prandelli lines up

balotelli/di natale-cassano-rossi/quaqliarella
--------------------gila/pazzini---

then italy will be a force again..they will definitely have a much better squad led by a more sane coach this time around

aws much as a i have always loved lippi and been grateful for the numerous trophies he won us but what he did during the wc was just utter retarded

his squad selection was all based on internal politics rather than by performance or hunger

who the fuck are cannavaro, criscito, gattuso and iaquinta to wear a national jersey

its was pretty fkn obvious that quagliarella shouldve played from day one alongside di natale and one of pazzini or gila..FUCK IAQUINTA!!the guy sucks plain and simple..his backheel pass to quaq was sick but besides that what the fuck did he do..hes really easy to mark with his back towards goal also and has zero confidence in his dribbling

wtf you expect from marchisio when hes played out of position twice..once as a playmaker and once as a winger

When I recall how poor Marchisio was, for vast periods of last season, along with most the rest of the squad, it makes it much easier to understand why italy were so shockingly inept at the world cup, for Marchisio was a starter...for the first two games.

Truly, the only juve players who should have gone were Buffon and Chiellini. Perhaps Grosso, for he has ALWAYS been far better for la nazionale than his club teams. To see Iaquinta huffing and puffing, cannavaro sloth like, and marchisio bland, anemic, and played everywhere but where he has a chance to shine, reminded me horribly of Juve of last season....

I just hope Lippi's lunacy has not hurt Claudio too much, because some of the sparks of life he showed last season gave me real hope, that in the future, with the right management, he could become a wonderful box to box midfielder.

Football agent Carlo Pallavicino stated : "I read in the papers that Juventus could sign Juan Manuel Vargas from Fiorentina in exchange for Claudio Marchisio. I think such a swap is impossible because of financial reasons and also due to the fact that Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri wants to keep Marchisio. ....If Juve officials would decide to sell Marchisio, they would negotiate with a bigger club".

back to reality Corvino

Buffon
Chielini
Marchisio
Diego

that was Juve in 2009/2010. We shouldn't even field 11 players in complex 4-2-2 formations. We could've just played 1-1-1 and get the same results.

I have as much love for Juve as anyone, but I refuse to adopt the same pigdumb blinkered approach to discussing juve matters. As it makes discussion hollow, lifeless and essentially a complete waste of energy....I support Marchisio, but last season, whilst showing flashes of real class, he was also regularly useless, like most of the squad. Its pointless debating football matters with people who refuse to accept that their favourite players can suffer from poor form...I doubt Claudio himself would disagree with my assesment, of him or the squad. The reasons for our poor season, i am certain he could help us all understand.

Its like these fools who see DP as a God whose powers on the field CAN never diminish, yet they want us to be become great once again, and go silent when I ask...'what other top team uses a 35 year old as a starter in attack????'

sentimental morons.

I have high hopes for Marchisio. And hope the new juve can be built around him and chiellini.
