I like him more in the middle, but a spell of playing wider should benefit him somewhat in the long run.

Would you go for a Melo-Marchisio pairing in a 4-2-3-1?

I would be content to go into the new season with Marchisio-Melo-Poulsen-Regista as the options for the midfield.

Ideally, I would not want to see Melo being a starter in that setup unless we do really improve our wingers. I'd much rather have a regista in there with Marchisio, having a smart CM pairing.

Melo should be given another chance though. Poulsen should be kept for times we need a true DM.
