What a player.

Include shooting and he's complete. Best thing about him is the amount of energy he puts into keeping the ball, and his dribbling ability has improved huge amounts since last season.

This guy needs a smart coach to get the best out of him, he can be polished to become one of the best midfielders.
One of the most complete midfielders, certainly.

I say find a good regista to partner him and call it a day. I have confidence in Marchisio to be tactically sound enough to do heaps of both defensive work and keeping the ball going forward.

Or perhaps we can get a midfield like Manure's going and have two all-action guys centrally, which I also like.

The way he handles the ball reminds me of Zidane. He's obviously not as good but he has the same style. His technical ability is amazing.

I like him more in the middle, but a spell of playing wider should benefit him somewhat in the long run.

Would you go for a Melo-Marchisio pairing in a 4-2-3-1?

I would be content to go into the new season with Marchisio-Melo-Poulsen-Regista as the options for the midfield.

What about Lucho as that missing piece in the puzzle. There is absolutely no need for Sissoko at all anymore, send him far.
