His dribbling skills are improving fast. His passing is improving as well. But what I really like is his creativity. I am not saying he is a camoranesi, but for a CM his creativity improvement is definitely going on the right direction.
What I would like to see once is a midfield of: Marchisio, Melo, De Cegli, + AM

I am not saying it would be our best formation (so noone jumps on my post), but I think it would be interesting adding De Cegli into the mix.

What I love is he gets better every single game...all our youngsters have "promise" but if they dont improve then they are of no use to us. Thats whay out of our youngsters Marchisio is now our best player and quickly concreting his spot in Juve and National team line-up. It couldnt be bad for him that Lippi was at the game last night either

That's a pretty bold and balsy statement, given the competition and that he's only played two matches for the adult NT.

But, IMO, the fact is that this is a question that people now have to take seriously and consider.
Well, he is the best right now. Pirlo and De Rossi are not doing as good as he is. I mean, Marchisio is making the Team of the weak almost every week these days.

“He's a lad I like a lot. The last time I saw him was in Turin with La Nazionale in the match against Bulgaria. Marchisio is not just a promising player he is already a great one,” Tardelli told Tuttosport.

Asked if Marchisio was a throwback to his own style of player, Tardelli replied: “I don't like these kinds of comparisons. Sure, he's a complete player, like I was. Perhaps he is even more professional than me. After all, I wasn't all that great.”

Speaking on his birthday, Tardelli went on to discuss Marchisio's best quality as a player.

He can cover every one of the roles in midfield, on the left, the right and in the middle. He'll play wherever you put him. He always guarantees a high level performance and resolves a lot of problems for Ferrara,” Tardelli concluded.

I on the other hand, never thought he'll succeed. First he was getting lots of injuries while he was in Empoli and i thought he's injury prone. Then on some matches for Juve he's shown too many weaknesses and i was pretty sure he won't make it.

Way to prove me wrong.
