I m very proud for Marchisio, the praises and faith i trusted upon him since serie B,
are paying off today! He still has a way to go to become established in the highest circles of competition, but i am now more confident than every other time, that he will reach them!

Right now, the next step, is to earn Lippi's favor...

Seriously, I don't get this forum sometimes. Why would we bench Camoranesi? He runs the game from that 3 man midfield. Just look at the game against Livorno.

Camo wasn't all that good in our last matches, including this one against genoa.

He holds up the ball to long, tries driblling when he can just pass the ball, and for some time now when he looses he just throws his arms around looking to referee and not trying to get it back. Something is wrong with him psychologicaly.

I think too that this would be best for now and for the future. And we can always rotate Camo for anyone here who is tired or out of form.

Camo does not have the legs to last 90 mins, that much is painfully clear...what Momo lacks in creative ability he makes up in tackling and stamina...for now, that is acceptable for me

Camo was good this game and the last one against Livorno. He offers creativity and can beat his opponents easily. We always need a healthy Camo.

I'd say he was average, at most above average. And if he gets his mind straight he can do wonders. Anyway it's just my opinion ;)

Camo was playing in the wrong position. He doesn't play well under the strikers and is much more effective on the wing -- kind of the reverse of Nedved.

Marchisio is not only playing really well, however, but he's playing it in multiple positions. He's got an amazing versatility to cover holes left by where our other midfielders need to play. In that sense, he reminds me a little of when Zambrotta used to field himself in such a versatile manner to account for team injuries at key positions, etc.

CLAUDIO MARCHISIO IL CAPITANO ( AFTER DELPIERO OFCOURSE;) )

This player has been great this season, for me he is easily the best italian midfielder after De Rossi. Marchisio will play WC 2010 for Italia. Our Bandiera who has played for our club since he was 7 year old. I am so proud.

And for me he is the next captain after Delpiero, ok Buffon also deserve to be captain so maby Marchisio could wait a little longer.

But Marchisio will be our captain one day, and what a captain he will be!!
