Oh really now? That would be more Sissoko, Melo, Krasic, Pepe, Amauri, Iaquinta i.e. players who fail at passing or trapping regularly--not Marchisio. You may say he doesn't get involved enough but not that he interrupts the flow.

He definitely interrupts the flow because he has close to zero flow to his game. Did you see some of his attempted passes during the pre-season?

LOL that was probably written or influenced by Carlo Garganse.

Im no Marchisio fanboy (at all), but there is no way we he disrupted Italys play. He was generally neat and tidy in possesion, had a shot that went close and provided an assist. Hardly an average game for him.

GOAL.com (HIGHLY RELIABLE RESOURCE) 6.0 - A late assist was the only bright spot for the midfield general, who disrupted Italy's flow and rhythm, as he offered virtually nothing to their midfield. However, his long ball to set up the winner was very important, and for that he must be credited.
This is why Goal.com is ridiculed, too bizzare, when he plays like a ghost and shitty, they praise him, when he has an actual excellent display, like tonight, he offered nothing? As I said, truly bizzare. Only explanation is they really dont pay fuck all attention to games, just mere moments of it, and then go with the usual stereotypes and shallow impressions as judgement.

Thank you. And I'm telling you, they read this site and get a lot of their junk from it.

Yeah, exactly, how hard is it to criticise him when he most of the time plays just so-so (though they usually oddly enough go on about what a key player he is in some of those underwhelming games), but when he has a decisive and excellent performance, you talk about how poor he was? Lazy excuse of "journalism", just going on the usual stereotype/typical impression of him.

We should start a Tuz blog for news comment and opinion. It would take around 3 minutes to become better than Footballitalia...

Maybe an weekly update on the homepage.

Let's do it. And we won't have annoying videos that won't stop playing on the page either.
