Too bad for him that Vidal outshone everybody today. As long as Vidal plays the same way that made him one of the best CM's in Germany and like today, Marchisio won't be a starter. Which is fine since I've always thought that Marchisio would be a good player for the bench since he raises the level of our terrible bench that has shit players like Motta and Iaquinta in it.

Put him in a two man midfeild with Pirlo, and Vidal won't be able to play with nearly as much freedom without leaving the team horribly exposed.

Therefore, if Vidal is to play as well as he did, Juve need to play 4-3-3, therefore there is a midfield spot up for grabs.

I agree. Vidal was very attacking most of the game. He had a great game and I do believe it was down to the freedom he was given, knowing that Pazienza and Pirlo was covering the defensiv part.
