He was world class? His goal was world class. I wouldn't know if he played if it wasn't for his goal. And he is not Trezeguet who can get away with it.
Very average performance, but a spectacular goal... once again demonstrating why we need to find a way to get this man further up the pitch on a consistent basis.
A good way to start: buy some fucking proper fullbacks. Tired of Delneri asking him to stay home and cover a shitty LB the entire game.
Definitely play him in the middle. He's a valuable squad player who constatly sacrifices himself for the team, and earns a relatively small salary. He's had a pretty bad season, but this is not one of the players we should be looking to release.
