Buffon is captain. The fact that Allegri has managed to give 15 games in itself is remarkable.

Rugani has made 7 more starts than Barzagli.
Fair point on Buffon being the captain.

But why play Barzagli at all when you give Rugani as much minutes as possible, and let him start the bigger games (when Benatia or Chiellini are unavailable) especially now that we are out of the CL?

Again if you watched our games. People said Barzagli done but Rugani concedes 2 against Benevento. Bottom of the table Benevento. A better side could punish this further and actually take points from us which means we could lose our league.

Rugani conceded two, all by himself? And you want to use one game as an example?

As if Barzagli hasn't had his bad moments for Juve (with increasing frequency).

Also Bentancur, though quite talented is quite inconsistent and has had just about as many bad games as good imo.

Im just saying there has been no public confirmation for any of the three but that doesnt mean there hasnt confirmation internally. It is possible that cheesio has become frustrated and has told the coach or management he is leaving or even they have told him they dont believe in him anymore

Either way, i think the marchisio fan club on this forum seems to be convinced that him not playing is a mistake or unfair for some reason but we are all just looking in from the outside. Considering his status as juve icon, talent and the fact max used to use hil as a starter i think it is pretty obvious that if he is struggling to even make a sub appearance these days then max has his reasons

Yes i know he is listed as fit for a while and is being called up but i am inclined to believe that there are some serious concerns about his long term physical condition that arent being made public because othetwise i am sure he would be playing

Is this supposed to be part of the discussion that was going on? :D

Remember Pirlo. Max gave us the scudetto when he preferred Van Bommel to Pirlo.

 whats your point here?
This word for word can be applied to Pirlo:

That Max can be wrong, everyone can. Ostracizing Marchisio may be one of these cases from Max, just like Pirlo was.

So?. Max once benched and let leave an aging player from milan that turned out to be hugely successful.

Shit happens in football hardly means it is at all a fair comparison to this situation. Should max just never let an aging player leave again because of what happened with pirlo?

Ill tell you what. If Marchisio leaves us for a rival italian side this summer and then goes on to be MVP of their 2018/19 scudetto win i will ask to be permabanned

That's not the point. The point that is that the reason you gave applies word for word to a previous situation that Max mishandled terribly. Saying its all fine because "max has his reasons" is a bit thin. This has all the marks of being a big screw up in an otherwise amazing tenure from Max.

I'm a member, but don't think so. I think Max knows what he's doing and probably has his reasons :)alen:) for not playing him.

If it were a question of form or playing style Marchisio might be on the bench but he would probably still get minutes. Our midfield is not exactly deep and that is including slow sami and disco stu. But no bentancur is preferred to him as regista and Stu is preferred over him as B2B

That he plays no minutes at all, despite having once been a starter for max, means it is physical problems imo.
