Yup but he still needs to improve his long distance shooting ability. That miss he had in the first half when he had all the time in the world and no close defender :disagree:

But one of our best players indeed when he's fit.

Difference is this guy was given a proper chance ;)
thats what you think...

blame diego & ferrara for that ... giovinco surely playedd more often under ranieri than now ...

if we had a winger injury crisis with the old 4-4-2 he would have gotten more time than now with the new stupid system that lacks on so many fronts that no coach is willing to take more gamble than necessary

Claudio is a very bright hope for not only the future of our club but also for the azzurri. Out of our central midfield options, he is the one i would least wish to lose. Melo, Momo, Poulsen...none of them come close.

His improvement over the course of the season has been one of very few things to be thankful for, in these dark times.

I expect this next year to be his big season, he is a quality player.
Agreed. He has shown in flashes, in a very poor juve season, that he has the drive and technique to become one of not only Italy's but the world game's finest midfielders. And truly, i hope he matures into what he his feet and heart has promised. next season...forza Claudio.

Definitely one of the few positives to take from this season. I hope he continues to develop like he has done.

King Marchisio. :juventus:

Claudio Marchisio has urged Juventus to make one final push to avoid the Europa League preliminary round.

“This is the last objective we have to reach, but to do so we must focus only on ourselves and not what Napoli are doing,” said the midfielder.

The Bianconeri are now mathematically out of the running for a Champions League spot, but risk starting their season at the end of July.

Fifth and sixth in Serie A go straight into the Europa League, while the seventh-placed team must go through the preliminary round.

“Lately we have had a certain level of consistency on home turf, something we should’ve maintained on our travels too.

“We put in a good performance in Catania and also had the chances to win, but at the end of the day we dropped points.

“We are in good shape physically and psychologically at the moment and this must give us the strength to beat Parma on Sunday.”
