Our midfield is the key to our success. We've done fine without so called top players upfront, collecting two consecutive scudetti in the process. We're not built like Milan, Inter, Real, Barcelona etc. We're a different breed. You don't sell anyone out of the MVP unless you have a really good replacement lined up. There are no players like Marchisio around at present, so the conclusion must be: Do not sell.

Do not tamper with our proven recipe for success.

Milan had Balotelli this season, Inter had Cassano and Milito, Napoli had Hamsik and Cavani. So fucking what? We had the MVP and we beat them all.

Dont forget Conte might switch to a 4-2-3-1 next season which means Jovetic will be playing as the advanced midfielder behind Llorente probably, which means MVP may not happen again. I think we should cash in on him, he's good but not great.

We're sticking with the 352, why change success?

As Red said, and now also Marrotta himself said, the only way this discussion of selling him becomes relevant, is if he asks to be sold, or we for some reason in the near future go back to playing a typical 4-4-2, a formation Claudio simply cant excell at like he can in 3 man midfields.

Of course fans should be concerned with how the club operates financially. That's the whole part of being a fan, wanting the club to succeed and taking the right direction.

Your post just sounds like that of someone who knows Marchisio has reached his peak, we need capital, so we might as well sell him. You just don't want to admit it.

And by the way, if Marchisio is a commodity, then he should be sold. A commodity's price is determined by the function of the market as a whole. If someone is stupid enough to buy Marchisio for 30M Euros, then you had better sell that commodity. That's like paying a million Euros for a share of Google. Who do you think you are with this business terminology, Professor JuveJay?
Yeah sorry I stopped attempting to engage anything resembling a discussion with you ages ago.

Because we don't have a chance against teams like Bayern in CL. We simply cannot cope with them. It's not all to a formation but 352 was painful to watch at times. It looked like we have one player less on the pitch. Their wingers pressed our wingbacks and neither Vidal or Marchisio couldn't protect our flanks adequately. We reached maximum with this team and formation and for something more we need reinforcements and a new strategy. We are far too predictable.
Winning league is great but CL is our next goal.

Don't use words you don't understand. Let that be a lesson.

Yep the 3-5-2 is all well and good against Serie A teams, When it comes to Europe we really need a new formation if we sign Jovetic i read some where Conte was planning on a 4-2-3-1 which is probably the best formation for CL level, Inter and Bayern have used that formation so well and i think Guardiola will do it as well with Gotze playing behind the striker. I enjoyed the 3-5-2 but we have reached our max with it.

It's only if Marchisio asks to leave that discussions should then turn to how much he should be sold for.

I'd be interested to see what the Juve fans who go to games and are more likely, with Marchisio being from Turin, to have an emotional attachment would say about Juve looking to sell Marchisio.
His shirt was the top seller last season so that's one indication.

No it isnt fucking part of being a fan.

You watch the team, support and hope they win for what, trophies or the fucking receipts?

Relax guys, Marchisio isnt going anywhere.

We wont sell for what any team would offer, 15-20m (cept for monaco and Ruineri the world class coach)
No other team will offer us what we would want, 25-30m.

No problem with marchisio staying, he's a decent player. I just hope Pogba gets his due and benches his ass. Marchisio, Giovinco and Vucinic our super subs for next season :juventus:

That would be the right thing to do.
