But you have to wonder about the hypocracy of fans who shout sell at any half-decent price and cant be loyal enough to a (good) player who has been in the club since he was 7, and loves the club and is loyal to it, while at the same time cry mercenary and soulless money grubber at any hint of any (quality) player wanting to leave the club, like it happend with us specifically after Calciopoli, but other cases too before that. Talk about amusing double standards.

I like juventiknows' end of season report on him:

Often overlooked because of a) the nature of his position and role demanded by Conte, and b) his overall selflessness, Marchisio is simply an irreplaceable piece of Juventus’ biggest asset, its midfield. Under Conte’s tutelage il Principino really began to shine. This season he picked up right where he left off.

An excellent dribbler with exceptional ball control and passing skills, Marchisio is at times most valuable for what he does without the ball, constantly terrorizing defenders with well-timed runs into the box, and frequently (for a central midfielder) chipping in with a big goal. So well-rounded is his skillset that with the unexpected meteoric rise of Paul Pogba, Conte was able to field Claudio as a second striker in order to maximize squad selection. The results may have been mixed, but his willingness to move around for the team, as well as his ability to at least spot-start out of position during a time of need – as he had done previously as a left winger under Gigi Delneri – only enhances his overall value to the team. None of this has gone unnoticed if reports of interest from clubs like Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and AS Monaco are to be believed.

Its appropiate time to re-post my favourite Marchisio Esoesgallo video (out of date since it contains no Conte run Juve footage):

Edit: Nvm, its an updated version of the video I meant, later on it contains bits of Conte's first season game vs Milan :touched:

@Osman Who is that chick in ur tar? She is hot :D

I can confirm that Marchisio is a global icon; I saw a Thai kid wearing a fake Juve jersey @ the mall today, and it had Marchisio printed on the back of it.

Summer Glau bro, yeah she is hawt.

And Claudio officially made it if a thai kid deemed him worthy of a fake jersey :touched:

On the real though, we need more players like him in our team, good home grown players, I'm frankly bit envious when I see other clubs like Bayern, Barca, Ajax in the past etc who are riddled with home grown players.

@Osman these are the same fans who didn't bat an eyelid when Ale was unceremoniously cast aside, so hardly surprising.

rest are trolls/dickheads.
