Reus isnt better then Higuain, Suarez is more complete but doesnt offer his finishing.

But mostly, 1 injury and we are done. 0 rotation in the league and europe.

Marchisio is hardly better at defending than he is going forward.

yeah, but he's a cm. when pogba replaces marchisio we are alot less good at controlling the game and opposing our will. Pogba needs players around him to carry out the dirty work in order to shine. Hence its why he replaces pirlo, and why we never saw pogba AND marrone in any decent game.

Pogba is an awesome youngster and excellent replacement for pirlo currently. But no one in the team can replace marchisio or vidal without a drop in quality overall

Yes and no. I think it would be a crime to leave one of Pogba or Marchisio on the bench in the coming season, 361 is stupid and don't consider it.

There is rotation possible with Asamoah, Isla, Giaccherini and Pepe so it wouldn't hurt the team that much.

Its quite easy. marchisio is so damn allround. he's defensive and tactical game is magnificent. Pogba is very far for his age, but nothing close to marchisio. If you put pogba on, you immediatly see the opponents getting more ground on the midfield.

I'm sorry ALC, but i dont think you have the tactical knowledge to judge central midfielders

and also the "sexy flicks and passes" argument is out of proportion. Pogba is a real presence and blocks the ball like no other in the team.. not to mention his technique and shooting.

Zach ur seriously underrating Pogba. And he is just 20.
Just imagine two parallel realitys, where both players are used as starters in the same season.In one reality marchisio is starter the whole season, in the other Pogba is starter the whole season. I can bet that the outcome of both players stat wise at the end of the season would be pretty shocking to you.

As someone said its stupid not to sell a player when you can buy a stronger player and improve the team
Hernanes is good but Im not convinced by a Hernanes Vidal Pirlo midfield. I see Hernanes working better with Vidal and Pogba
I think its a crime to leave Pogba out so Id sell Marchisio for around 35m if being offered.
Id like us to sign Fabregas or Ozil but this is unrealistic
