If Bonucci is not fit this is the best we have.
Hopefully it's just SKY inventing stuff with 442 tho, no reason we can play 433 with Dybala, but 442 without him.
I mean, its the hybrid 4-4-2, 4-3-3 that we've been running with.
Cuadrado will push up basically into the role of a winger to Vlahovic's right in attacking and provide the main attacking in that area but will also drop all the way back and be alongside MDS in defense, allowing MDS to push further mid or even cut off passing channels on the right.
I think its the expected formation but it still shows the struggles of this team. I am always going to be one to say we don't know everything and so we don't have all the information as to WHY Allegri won't run with a Zakaria/Arthur/Locatelli formation, allowing Locatelli to play in more of an attacking/creative role. We don't know why he continues to play Sandro on the left instead of MDS and put De Winter on the right (who in his lone appearance looked WAY better going forwards and defending). And MDS is entirely different on the left and better there imo.
I think if we had a CB back from injury, MDS would be on the left and Danilo would be the pseudo-RB slash third CB allowing Cuadrado to roam all the way forward in attack and drop all the way back to RWB in defense and we would have more of a back three in those situations. Sadly, injuries to CB have been a year long problem.

I think he's forced to start Sandro because we don't have our starting CB's available
That weak-ass Pellegrini is equally as bad as Sandro so I guess he's going with experience
Exactly. The other way around that would be De Winter on the right and MDS on the left.
