Milan are a great club with a very rich history. And they do seem to perform in the CL very consistently. However, Milan today is not a great team. They have downgraded quite significantly, and yet despite this, they do manage to find results. Good for them.

Robinho and Kaka today would not make it in any top team. In fact, the same can be said about most of their players baring a few. If they manage to hold Barca to a draw at home by practically playing with a ten man defense, it's not an amazing accomplishment. And the fact that some people think it is, shows you where Milan is in the football world. Mind you, this goes for all Italian teams including us.

We've become second rate European teams. Italian teams were once great, and because of a superb history, still are, but off the pitch, not on it.
Couldn't agree more with what you said man.

So much versatility in this RM squad. They can easily change their formation depending on how the game goes. From 4-4-2 to 4-2-3-1, or 4-3-3. And the scariest thing is that they're coached by Italian who is perfectly familiar with our game. Few months ago on some conference he presented an article on how to set up play vs teams that use 3 men back line, as he encountered this particular problem in France. Might be the reason why Conte decided to change our formation.
Ancelotti is one of the very best tactical experts in the game.

Lippi's Juve almost made it to 4 CL finas in a row between 1996 and 1999.

We're just unlucky, really really unlucky in this competition.
I never buy that 'luck' excuse. If we lived up to expectations it would have been different. Our cycle somewhat came to an end but we didn't use our chance to win the competition when we had our moments.

I'm glad it seems that Conte has finally decided to change things up a little, but if the rumours are true about Marchisio playing behind the front 2, then I'm prepared to write this formation off before I've even seen it.

 :disagree: Really dude?! Do you believe that BS? Luck is only a part of it.

There were also many incidents when we were lucky, so eventually incidents/occurrences even themselves out.

Blaming the lack of luck as the reason/culprit for failure is a weak and pathetic excuse for losers, not winners (at least in my book).

Pogba should be playing there

They have the better players, and the better coach. However, we do have the better team as we have been playing together for a while and under the same coach for a 3rd consecutive season. Hence, if we remember how to play like we know how, we could get something out of this :D

4-3-1-2? Would have loved to see Asamoah in the middle. He's very versatile, great work rate, strong as fuck and actually good with the ball as long as he's not asked to play as a winger. Would cover a lot of basis for us in a game like this.

Not trying to spread doom but we have conceded 13 goals in 10 matches. We can't afford to let Ronaldo shot at all costs especially considering Buffon's form. I hope we turn up & if we lose then let's avoid humiliation at all costs. Forza Juve.

I think Juve trained in the Bernabeu yesterday, so there isn't going to be much secrecy.
quite secret and subtle imo

anyway we are so going to owned, but I'll be expecting it so it won't be so bad then. just hope we aren't humiliated and don't concede in the first 15.
