I have such bittersweet memories of this game. It was during my first trip to Italy. I’d just spent a beautiful day in Venice, then watched this match that evening. By the end, my blood was boiling.

Two weeks later I was at San Siro for the Inter game (the one where Higuain scored the winner in that wild finish). In that moment, it felt like the universe had corrected itself.

This game was proof allegri was shit. Should have never been down 3 goals at home to begin with.
And how many times did we see it in the Champions League?

"But we came back!!" Until we didn't after throwing away the first leg. It's like the "he makes us peak late" excuse, like there's a "do good" switch that he just decides to turn on.

You are blaming Allegri for not beating the strongest Real side side in quite possibly all time? The team that won 3 CLs in a row. Dybala got a red card in the 1st game so with a man down and being wasteful infront of the goal, while they had Ronaldo in his peak, we didnt really have a chance. Thats a weird game you chose to evaluate Allegri on. I'll remind you that Allegri is our 3rd most sucessful coach.... Legend.

Sure, we threw way 1st leg when we missed million chances while CR pounced on every opportunity, made Chiello and Buffon look like amateurs. Dybala got red iirc... The hate is unreal.

it wasn't a one off game. there was a pattern of allegri getting destroyed in europe. vs barca when he was in charge of milan. against bayern in first leg when in charge of juve. against real madrid in that discussed. against barca and madrid in the finals. vs atletico first leg. macabi haifa lol.

it's not a one game thing, there is clear pattern.

People often say they rather want RM to win because they're so ahead of everyone else but I personally support any teams playing against them (except it's Inda). 2 CL finals losses are just too much for me to stomach.
So you are envy of their success! What makes me hate them is that fucking game in the second leg where Buffon was sent off and the referee actually bought the game for them.

Would you blame me when Mijatovic scored from an offside position when Juve dominated Real in 1998? And how many times Real got favorite calls in 50-50 challenges when they play against other CL teams (not just Juve)? There are plenty YouTube videos showing those situations. I hate Real not because of their success, but the way they did it.

With 15 titles, they are unattainable. we lost 11 finals, and I can justify all of those losses.

Guardiola as a Bayern coach was slaughtered against Real in the knockouts, as a coach of Barca, he was destroyed against Bayern, as a coach of City he was beaten by Real multiple times, so I see a pattern there as well. Does that make Pep a bad coach? When you come up against European heavy weights plenty of times things dont go in your favor. Allegri's Juve came up against stronger teams, arguably Real's strongest side in their history that won 3 CLs in a row, Barca that dominated the tournaments for years, or Bayern, and lost against them. On other occasions he won against Real and Barca. He lost with Milan as well? Sure, Milan played Niang as a winger, Montolivo in the middle, a team full of old and/or mediocre players against top Barca side. Hardly a shocker. Very bad examples. Juve vs Atletico? We won that tie...
