Already quite a few players that will miss the first leg of the preliminaries:

- Giovinco, Marchisio and De Ceglie will probably play at the olympics.
- Casiraghi can call up three senior players for the olympics. Chiellini might be one of them, depending on his playing time at the EC.
- Nedved is suspended (remember his red card against Arsenal).
