I watched the match with bunch of neutrals. And they still making jokes and are shocked that, we were attacking in heavy numbers, Cuadrado had the ball in edge of box on the right, and instead of crossing he passed back back to the goalie/CB.

They couldn't believe what they were seeing.

They were as shocked about me not being shocked about it.
this set me wrong every fucking time I see it.
Those useless back passes cause we lack quality or mentality to try anything else beside the easy and useless time wasting back pass

We won’t improve if we keep the way we play and the attitude when entering the field. I didn’t see any clues for any improvement.

Cuadrado is too old to make a decent cross. The guy lost his confidence and passion.

Someone in the live thread said that this was the exact moment Cuadrado realized that he is done at top level, and I agree with that.
Cuads was already dominated by Mendes 2-3 times prior to this moment. As experienced and intelligent as he is, he knew that if he tries to dribble he'll fail, if he tries to cross it will be blocked, so he passed it back. A Cuads of 2 years ago wouldn't have done it, but this here is a finished Cuadrado, who knows very well that he's finished :(

It's kind like being a Cleveland Indians fan back in the day - you got used to never getting your hopes up and nothing ever surprised you.

Cuad isnt any more finished than the rest of our players. You find 1 episode thats sus indeed. But he was very safe in possession, active in defense, and had 2 keypasses and dribbles, more than any of our other players lol. What do people expect from Cuadrado on this defensive team with no movement? :D

Statistically he is getting the highest rating of our players this game. But yeah 1-2 episodes is what is stuck in mind and if it fits with your idea of him already being finished (I mean, he is 34, he will eventually be), then thats what you remember.

cuads is thiss seasons' dybala.

last two seasons poor form was blamed on dybala, bonucci, woj, and rabiot.

can't blame it on woj he injured. can't blame it on dybala he gone. bonucci barely played this season. so this season's sacrifical lamb will be cuadrado. anything to make allegri look innocent

Most people take this 2:1 as good thing since in 1st half we should lose 3-4 goals XD Selfish Mbappe XD Great player but toxic in my eyes.
Agree that easy tap in for Neymar is so bad, there is no chance he cant pass that

Neymar despite his diving antics is really great baller

I hope we someday get someone as skillful like him but with Son Heung Min attitude, or we can just get Son Heung Min.

It’s funny, if we win ugly there’s no shortage of people whining that they didn’t play well and got lucky. But if you suggest they played well in a loss then you’re an idiot or something.

The only regret in this game for me were the first 20-30 minutes when they played scared. After that Juve pretty much controlled the game and almost all of PSGs chances after that came on counters. The separator was individual quality, and you need wingers in a game like this so not having Chiesa and Di Maria was probably the difference. PSG was full strength and at home and besides those two moments of individual brilliance, it never felt like they were the better side.

Paredes MOTM btw, especially in the second half.

If you see that McKennie scored, you can bet that Allegri was clueless and Juve lost the match while playing horribly in attack.
This was McKennie's 4th goal under Allegri, and three of them were scored when Juve lost the match.
McKennie is indeed the man to put on when nothing works and you try to do something with crosses, but it's alarming how often nothing works.

I did predict McKennie would score pre-game.

But I also said we’d lose 6-1.

After an atrocious first half (in which we still should have scored at least once) we look much improved in the second half. Pushed forward more, moved the ball that little bit quicker, got some good deliveries in the box. Should play with that desire and intensify always.

Still a loss but at least it wasn’t a beating. We can and should improve from here on out…let’s see what happens.

PSG wasn't even trying after 20 minutes.
Do you remember where Juve still dominating and beating Serie A minnows then put their foot off the gas and slowly those minnows crawling back in the last minutes and made Allegri threw of his suit?
That's exactly how it felt tonight

Yeah Psg dominated Real Madrid at home last season beat man city but you can see the difference between the individual quality of their players and our players.
