Its funny Inter fans are comparing their treble to our season..
Yes Inter won it but
1. In order to do so they needed the FIGC to send us to Serie B
2. After eliminating the competition by sending us to Serie B they took away our players (Zlatan who later was replaced with Eto)
3. They did it for 1 season and then fell apart and got back to their usual place
4. All they did and here we are stronger than ever on the way to reach the CL final and win another scudetto breaking Serie A record of 5 straight scudettos with our 6th

Mbappe brought them into the game, otherwise it would been a serie a match. as an 18 yo , that's character and impressive. Stop hating

Ok overall good performance although there were some shaky moments in our defense..
I dont understand the take the striker out and invite the opposition to attack in the closing minutes..
Mbappe is amazing I think we should put a huge bid for him and hope they accept

He's great but we have more pressing areas to blow 90% of our budget on.

Plus he's still very much great in waves and disappears later on in the game, he'd struggle for game time here and it's not like we're buying him at a steal before his value doubles. He's already going to be top 5 at least for the transfer record.

I don't get the hate either. He's still a kid and he did okay. Of course he's going to suffer when faced with Bonucci, Chiellini and Barzagli and let's face it, an entire team that is awesome in defense.

We already have more points than Inter did during their treble winning season. As well as having a +48 goal differential to their +34.

If we manage to win the treble (we won't), our season would be clearly more impressive.

The word 'professional' was used a lot on BT Sport and that's what it was really, sheer experience followed on from superior quality in that first goal. Second goal killed it. Dani Alves was sensational and he's been at a great level for some time now.

Pleased for Higuain to get his goals. He started off looking like Roberto Stellone again but that goal was a classic shot of his and we needed him to come good at some point.

Marchisio had a very good game, nice to see him back to that kind of level. He's one of the best 'facilitators' in midfield when he's at his best fitness, his spacial awareness is very good.

I was a little disappointed in Dybala again at times, he seems to float in and out of games more recently. For any potential final he would need to be right on it from the beginning.

EuroMax  Nullified their midfield with the 3-5-2 and made our wingbacks important. It'll be interesting to see what he does in Turin. With a 2-0 lead he probably doesn't need to change from the 3-5-2.

I still think that this team has 20-30% more to give, we slackened off again as we tend to when we think the game is fairly easy, but fortunately we seem to be getting the rub of the decisions and the odd bounce in this competition so far. I thought the ref was a bit lenient with us at times, and I'm almost certain that was because Monaco players started complaining to him early on once they got frustrated and realised we wouldn't going to play retard open football and let them come at us in waves.

Was fukkin loling when the sky sport pundits were mind boggled why City didn't sign Dani Alves if he was available. How on earth could he choose a poverty club like Juve over City?!
