Also they really do need points tonight. Look at their remaining fixtures.

Home to Young Boys but way to Spain and Italy. Very likely they don't take more than 3-4 points from that. If they don't win tonight fair chance Valencia finishes second over them.

If they can't beat that hopeless Valencia side, they don't deserve it anyway.

Im nervous because our midfield is very bad and we didnt do anything this summer to improve it and eventually, our weak-ass midfield will show in CL. I know we are considered CL favourites but thats only because we have CR7 in our team, otherwise, looking at our mid this season, we are a quarter-final material, semi-finalist at most depending on how difficult teams we come across in the knock-outs.
How many teams have a better midfield than us?
Real, Bayern, Man City maybe Barca that's it. Those teams have piss poor defenses and attacks that are not as good (apart from Barca whose attack is on par).
We made the CL final with an inferior midfield to this one, and have only improved in attack since then.

I predict a closer game than some might think.

Form may point to a strong Juve win but United will come to this incredibly fired up. This is the biggest game of the season for them so far and they will be desperate to not lose and someway make up for their mediocre start to the season.

Juve on the other hand don't need a result near as badly. We are almost certain to top the group regardless of what happens tonight and would probably take a draw. Still the difference in quality and confidence will be enough

Juve wins 2-1 imo

I'm fairly certain it will be a close game. Like you said, Utd really need a good performance and we don't.

Then again sometimes it's easier to win when you don't feel as much pressure. I wouldn't be that surprised if we trash them 0-4 or something either.

They will win aerial duels. Most likely we will concede a goal. We are gonna miss Mandzukic. Allegri will surprise them as usual. We have a good chance to play good football without long balls and crosses.
Max will surprise them by playing a more defensive, tactical game.

Utd's record against top teams isn't bad. They suffer when they have to open up a bit more against smaller sides.

Can see Cuadrado starting on right to help shut down Utd's left, only place on the field where they can be threatening.

And crosses galore to Ronaldo.
