They get paid millions to run and to play one match weekly. Sometimes two. And they can't even do it. Not only they can't do it but they look like a bunch of amateurs.
We did play 3 or 5 matches more than teams in other leagues, but people in the fitness staff didn't manage to optimally prepare our players. Of course, it was impossible for any team to have same fitness as in March and April, but our players dropped dead.

Those last few minutes were the most frustrating. Why the hell didn’t we deliver a cross?

And for the game itself; it was like a average Serie A game. Lyon wasn’t really that good, and we were having troubles creating. Just the same thing as the most games this season.

I was thinking that the other day. Allegri years were the best years in CL for me as a Juve fan. Even before 2006, every game, every round was a toss-up, but with Allegri I felt safe and confident.
Allegri was a master at being reactive to teams. A ‘lack’ of proactivity is what cost him his job for some reason. Ajax literally committed sepuku last season by not changing their tactics so it really begs the question why try to change a zebras stripes. Juventus are never going to play total football so what’s the point in trying to do that.

All we needed last season was a good clear out of players that were past best and replacing with other ones that offered more interesting solutions, but instead we tried to upgrade the whole system without barely changing a part.

Because Danilo came on. He crossed to A.Sandro, twice. :haha:

Hopefully the mercato won't be as frustrating as our football. The decision to keep Sarri or not should be made already and if we do replace Sarri, the replacement must be agreed already.

I just remembered that we have Tici and Swayze responsible for the mercato :lol2:

Higuain , Berna , Matuidi , Rugani , Khedira have to go , their times are up .
Without question yes!

Feel so sorry for this guy having to waste the little time he has left involved with this situation. What would have last two Juve's looked like without him?

Go all in and find a way to get this guy for CR7. Superstar in the back, middle, and front.

Likewise, if we are keeping him, I expect the players to be brought in to be exactly the ones he’s requesting. Not bargain bin buys, sometimes it’s like my mother constructed this team from needless clutch Poundland purchases.
