GRANDE JUVE!!!!! What a performance!!!!! I'm not going to hesitate in saying that I didn't think we'd progress so I'm obviously thrilled with the result. Camoranesi was the man of the match, wonderful stuff from him. Thuram and Cannavaro were rock solid at the back while Zlatan was superb bar his finishing. He really should have scored at least once. Buffon was confident. Zalayeta had a really good game, lovely goal. Amazing strike from Trezeguet. Emerson, Zebina, Zambrotta and Pessotto played their parts. Del Piero was pretty quiet. He started well but faded out of the game. To be fair to him he didn't see a lot of the ball. All of Capello's decisions were spot on, hats off to him. Grazie Don Fabio, Grazie Juve!!!!

    JUHUHU!!!!!

we kicked out Real, the best what can happen!!!!

I have to applaud the whole team they played a great match!

I think everything went the right way, exactly the way Capello said, (he said we should be patient) and he is off course a master!

Buffon - clean sheet nothing to say
Zebina - much better than in Madrid had his side under control
Canna u. Thuram - simpley great
Zambrotta - defensivly ok, in offensive not much
Pessotto - did his job done
Emerson - worked hard, great match
Camo - amazing match from him, he dribbled, crossed, i think he is so important for the team
Zalayeta - the overtime man, showed why he is in starting eleven
Del Piero - imo played also a good match
Zlatan - his skills are out of the world, but his finishing is very poor

Trez - scored the vital goal, you can say what you want but infront of the goal he is a killer,

Tacci - did ok, and was responsible for the red card for Ronaldo

Capello - his master and rocks!

    forza juventus!

    Emotional Capello Hails Monumental Victory

Juventus boss Fabio Capello was seen rejoicing as never seen before following his team’s monumental win over Real Madrid, on Wednesday.
“I think it’s the first time I celebrated like that in my career. I hope to repeat it again,” he said immediately after the game.

”Beating Real Madrid isn’t simple, especially after losing the first leg. It was important we were able to avoid the penalty kick shoot-out,” he added, before analysing the game.

“We only handed Real one true chance throughout the match. We instead created a lot, but we remained concentrated as well, because if you lose concentration for one second, they punish you,” he said.

Capello also hailed Italian football, that could find itself with three teams in the quarterfinals if Inter get past Porto next week.

“The story that Italian football is defensive must end. Juve, Milan, and Inter all play great football now,” he said.

    Real: We’ll beat Juventus
Posted by Alex | Football Italia

Real Madrid are in confident mood ahead of Wednesday’s Champions’ League trip to Juventus.

The Spaniards go into the game with a 1-0 advantage and they are convinced that they will qualify for the last eight.

"Real are easily a stronger side than Juventus," announced club captain Raul Gonzalez Blanco.

"Quality will be the decisive factor and we have more of it in our side," continued the Spanish striker.

"I expect Juventus to be very aggressive, to put us under pressure in a bid to not let us keep hold of the ball.

"That is because (Juventus boss Fabio) Capello knows that if we take control in midfield, then we will create many problems."

Real took a 2-1 advantage to Turin two years, but ended up losing the semi-final clash after a 3-1 defeat in Italy.

But former Inter full-back Roberto Carlos is adamant that there will be no repeat tomorrow night.

"Juventus should be warned that Ronaldo will score past them," predicted the South American.

"Ronaldo is in great form again and he’ll definitely hit the target. We aren’t going there with the intention of playing for a draw."
