Del Piero Invites Juve To Play Perfect Match
3/7/2005 4:42:00 PM
The Bianconeri’s captain encouraged his team mates to play their best game of the season against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
For Juventus the Wednesday night match at the Delle Alpi will have a fundamental effect on the remainder of the season. A win could be a great boost for the final rush both in the Scudetto and Champions League, whilst a defeat might be detrimental for the morale of the squad.

Alessandro Del Piero has therefore come out to motivate the Old Lady ahead of this all-important clash by inspiring his team mates to play the game of the season.

“We are called to give our best and even more. Qualifying for the next round will only be possible with a perfect match.”

‘Pinturicchio’ also commented on last Saturday’s ‘battle’ between Roma and Juve at the Olimpico, which produced a very technically poor encounter due to the high tension on the pitch.

“The match was nervous and there were too many fouls. The expectation and tension on the pitch produced 72 fouls in the end; too many for a football game.”

Juventus Are Scared Of Us-Zidane
3/7/2005 3:41:00 PM
Real Madrid midfielder and former Juventus superstar Zinedine Zidane is convinced the Merengues will oust the Italian Old Lady on Wednesday evening.
“We will come out victorious. Juventus are scared of Real. We need to score a goal without opening up too many spaces in our back-field,” said the Frenchman.

“Juventus usually adopt a defensive game-plan, but in this game they will obliged to attack. We will have more spaces to take advantage of,” he added.

Zidane also confirmed he will be in top shape for the match.

“I have totally recovered from my injury, and I can’t wait to play, “ he said.

Real Madrid beat Juventus 1-0 in the first leg match.

hopefully neddy can play, when he was discharged from hospital they said he needs a 7 day rest,so that will be over after tuesday, i know he will not have trained much, but neddy is a naturally fit guy so if the facts are true im hope to at lest see him on the bench, imagine the scene there is over 15 minutes to play, the tie is level at 1-1 on aggregate thanks to zlatans goal and nedved is introduced to the game in front of a packed stadium, thats gonna lift our team !!!!!!

hope and pray that neddy will be fit to win the day!!

David Beckham is a doubt for Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League clash in Juventus.

The Spanish giants hold a slender 1-0 advantage from the first leg in Madrid but may have to face the Italians without the England captain.

Beckham was substituted during the second half of Real's 1-1 draw in Valencia on Saturday night due to a back injury - which could rule him out of the big game in Italy.

"Today [Saturday] I woke up and I could feel my back," said Beckham.

"For some reason I had to have a lot of work and injections on it before the game.

"I didn't have full movement before the game started.

"We'll have to see how it is tomorrow and take it from there."

do you think it would be better for juve to go 1-0 up in the first 10 mins or so or take later in the game after the hour mark, because maybe if we score to early we sit back and give real a chance to control and come at us, but if we score later maybe we push on for the win, just wondering what people in here think

Zidane fears Zlatan factor Monday 7 March, 2005

"I’m worried about the whole side but Ibrahimovic is a player who at this moment in time is doing really well."
Zidane is simply talking shit to get on our nerves.
