Ibrahimovic could prove a problem for Juventus this term. First of all his egocentric behaviour will inevitably make us play worse, but more importantly it's not appreciated by his teammates. We all know how Zlatan is and I'm afraid we're pretty close to some internal stress.

Unbelievable wrong.
Now when he scored we finally will get the peace and quite we want.

That's great. Zlatan is never selfish right? Del Piero doesn't deserve to get more playing time, right? Surely we should let our team depend on Zlatan.
Where did I write that?
Don’t get all paranoid and idiotic!
And I’ve wrote a post earlier about “deserving” to play. Bullsh*t. Just like kindergarten all over again.

Zlatan is selfish!
Del Piero will get more playing time.
And I don’t think we should let the team depend only on Zlatan.
One question. If I would think it was a great idée to let the whole team depend on Zlatan. How would we achieve that?

I don't think I've ever seen match ratings for a player vary from 5.5 to 8, from supposedly objective sources no less.

Goes to show how everything is perceptive I guess.

Btw, great 100th CL appearance for Del Piero as well.

I thought that we played quite good, even in the first half. Juve tried to play what they had to play: their minimum. Somehow I think that Mutu brought a lot of new fresh ideas on the field and he comined perfectly together with Zlatan. My formation from now on is:

Abbiati
Blasi---Thuram---Cannavaro---Zambrotta
Camoranesi/Nedved---Vieira---Emerson---Mutu
Del Piero --- Zlatan

My preview:

Abbiati 6.5
Was alright when called in action and shows signs of more confidence. Hope he continues to improve.

Pessotto 6.0
Nothing special offensivly, as he always comes up with a long pass. Struggled with Hofmann in the second half and I still think Blasi is a way better option there.

Thuram and Cannavaro 7.0 perfect game as usual and no problems at all

Zambrotta 7.0
Nice assist and a lot of offensive actions. Didn't allow any attack over his wing in the whole game and played very good football. I think he also combines better with Mutu than with Nedved.

Camoranesi 5.0
It wasn't his game at all. IMO he wasn`t really involved in the play and missed his only chance. The team played through Nedved mostly and thats why he didn`t really got a lot of crosses. Pessotto is not the right partner for him.

Emerson 7.5

My man of the man of the match. Didn`t make any mistakes and was a rock in the mid. IMO we can`t do without his great passplay and fighting spirit. Simply GREAT!

Giannichedda 5.5

Was he even on the field???

Nedved 6.5

Played IMO a very good game with a lot of nice passes and actions but IMO he tries to many shots. He even impressed me when Capello put him on the right. Was really good and I see him coming back to his best. Though to decide who will be the better: Mutu, Camo or Nedved.

Zlatan 6.5

Played good. A lot will say he was too selfish, but thats his style. I apologize every stupid dribbling when he makes such great assists like for the first goal and scores a beauty himself. Had also some nice passes in the middle like the one that Camo shot on goal. IMO let him play together with Mutu and we will have a new dream combo!

Trez 6.0

Nothing special. The goal, that was it.

DP 7

Outstanding. He came on and turned the game. Nice pass on Zlatan on that counter attack and a great shot on goal too. Deperatly deserves a starting shirt.

Mutu 7

Same as DP and even scored a goal. He gives us the special creativity we have lacked for so long. Really needs a starting line-up, as he combines perfectly with the other players.

Del Piero hits his century Wednesday 28 September, 2005

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alessandro Del Piero says he is honoured to have played in his 100th European game for Juventus last night.

The club captain came on as a second half substitute against Rapid Vienna on Tuesday to celebrate his century for the Bianconeri.

"I’m proud to have become the first Juventus player in history to reach 100 in European competition," he told his official website.

"This is obviously a great honour, something of great satisfaction and a number which signifies a lot for me."

The Old Lady collected a 3-0 victory at the Delle Alpi thanks to goals from David Trezeguet, Adrian Mutu and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"It was our third game in six days and we were a little tired," added the 1993 signing from Padova.

"We increased our tempo in the second period and the two late goals ensured us the three points.

"It was an excellent result seeing as it was our seventh from seven games since the start of the season in Serie A and the Champions League."

Trez supports goal-hungry Ibra Wednesday 28 September, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

David Trezeguet has defended Juventus teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic from jibes that he was too egoistic in the 3-0 win over Rapid Vienna.

Boss Fabio Capello was annoyed by the Swede’s selfish play at times last night, as he looked for his first Champions League goal since his arrival in 2004.

But Trezeguet insists that goal droughts are problematic periods for a forward to continue playing in.

"If a striker doesn’t score then he has just one thought in his head and that is that he wants to find a goal," the Frenchman stated. "He therefore sees things a little differently."

The former Monaco striker netted his 101st goal for the club on Tuesday, before being joined on the score sheet by Adrian Mutu and then Ibrahimovic.

"We didn’t play that great at the start of the game as we were a little tired from the Parma trip," added Trezeguet.

"But Mutu and Zlatan managed to get their first goals in Europe for us and this is very important for the rest of the season."

Juventus, who have a 100 per cent record in all competitions, are now focusing on the big Serie A clash against second placed Inter on Sunday.

"They are a team who are doing very well," noted Trezeguet. "They are the most in-form side along with us.

"Inter also have some very good players in their team. Let us hope that it is a good game."

hahaha that gotta hurt for the juve supports who dont support zlatan here.

people in here might have opinions about who they think is better zlatan or del piero.

but if their player is benched and the other starts a true juve fan will want to see him play well for the clubs benefit and then hope when their player gets a chance he also plays well and then tries to force his way into the team.

i am a Dp fan but firstly iam a juve fan so if zlatan starts i hope he plays well and scores.

i doubt any juve fan who wants to see one of their players underperform

Del Piero should be treated in the starting 11 in the champions league..he has the passion, experience and is not selfish for Godsake!!! yes, we won, now we r playing rapid viana...if we meet a determine defensive side e.g. Liverpool/ Chelsea how many chances r we gonna get?? Let Ibra do whatever he wants in the seria A, in seria A, u lost a game doesn;t mean u lost a championship..but in CL..perhaps u only have 1 chance....my ideal partnership would be trez n dp...coz they olledi been PROVEN a few seasons ago in the CL..
that;'s jst my opinion, it's not i dun like Ibra..but hey, if u think everyone gonna rotate then y not rotate Ibra since it;s ONLY Rapid??
