As we didn't win in Artemi Firenze, a lot of doubt has arisen as to whether we can pull it off against Pool.

Will il Puma be back for that one?

I think Emerson will be back for this one, however I'd play 4-3-3 or take a risk and play 3-4-3, with Zlatan Dp Zala inside...

3days still to go!!

I think we should bench Nedved. he is not inform and we can't afford to have a player not performing. We have to win this game. I have mixed feelings about the game, lets hope the best!

Trez has Reds in his sights

Juventus striker David Trezeguet is determined to feature in the UEFA Champions League tie with Liverpool on Wednesday.
The prolific French forward appeared in the first leg as The Reds secured a 2-1 win at Anfield, and, after being ruled out of Saturday's trip to Fiorentina, is keen to appear in what he termed 'the match of the year'.

An ankle injury has prevented the former Monaco man from reclaiming his place in the starting line-up at the expense of either Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Alessandro Del Piero, and Trezeguet admitted that any kind of involvement would satisfy him.
The Bianconeri's star hit-man has also missed a large part of the season with a shoulder problem, although made a telling contribution in the previous round as he came on to score an acrobatic effort against Spanish giants Real Madrid.

"I still have pain to my ankle," Trezeguet told L'Equipe.
"It is impossible for me to play at Florence but we will do everything for me to be present against Liverpool, it is the match of the year.
"It is impossible I miss that encounter, I think I will be on the pitch on Wednesday.
"Even if I start on the bench it won't be important, I could always come on as sub against Real Madrid.
"I will take care of my ankle, I am optimistic, I have to be."

GERRARD: UNDERDOG TAG SUITS US
Paul Rogers 10 April 2005
Steven Gerrard today admitted that Liverpool can pull off a historic result in Turin on Wednesday even though the rest of football believes that the Reds are already out of their depth at this stage of the Champions League.
Liverpool have been rank outsiders for European glory all season but with the Merseysiders just one draw away from a place in the semi-finals, Gerrard believes there's no reason why they can't pull off a shock result in Italy this week.

"While it was a sickener to concede an away goal, we've got to remember that we would have definitely taken a 2-1 victory if someone had offered it to us before the game. Now we have got to stick together and come up with another big, big performance in Italy. It will take the best performance that a Liverpool team has produced since I have been at the club if we are to reach the semi-final. That's how tough it is going to be in Italy.

"People will look at the away goal Juventus scored but we have just got to be happy that we have given ourselves a big lift by beating one of the best teams in Europe. Let's not forget that Juventus were one of the favourites before a ball had even been kicked.

"We will be the underdogs again but I think we are at our best when we have something to prove. No one outside the club expected us to get even this far so we are playing with very little pressure on us. The manager told us before the first game that we had nothing to lose and we are well capable of upsetting the odds again.

"The key to it could be to score an away goal ourselves. We may be a bit short of strikers at the moment but players like Luis Garcia have come up with some important goals in Europe this season and if we can grab one in the away leg then that would make it very difficult for Juventus."

i dont prefer playing with three in the back, they will just kill us on the counter attack and we would be very opened in the back.

i agree with not playing neddy from the start, we need someone on the bench that could make a huge difference in midfield.

the players need to really focus in this match we really need to play well to win.
