Good result from a match which was more intriguing than exciting.

The 2 teams perhaps showed way too much respect to eachother and kinda nullified eachother .

Both defences were excellent with messrs Canavaro, Thuram, Fringes excelling

Kahn had relatively nothing to do apart from completely fumble a mishit by Emerson to Dp, who missed just as much as incredibly as he did in the Euros against Bulgaria

These 2 superpowers had never met in competitive football and it was disgusting to hear just 18,000 turned up

Napoli are in serie C1 and for 3 consecutive weeks 61,000 have turned up to watch them while Juve are serieA leaders and attract that kinda crowd against the biggets team from Germany (shameful).

I cannot understand why I am reading in some places like footballitalia that Zlatan was impressive, imo he was hopeless, I am not talking about the offsides, but also the unnecessary fouls, the less that impressive touches which were unhelpful, the laxy wayward passes and not one attempt on target in 90 mins and he is a striker, who also missed a sitter.

Zebina played well whilst brining the ball forward but he showed yet again he has no brain cells with the silly fouls he kept on committing which on another day would have caused us a penalty and playing with a man down

Cannavaro is a superb defender but I always get scared when he has the ball at his feet

Thuram is sheer class except when the ball is in the air as he tends to misjudge it

Zambrotta has been subdued in the last two matches

Blasi for all his faults was our most impressive player as he fought , won the ball and actually passed it better than in any other game i have seen

Camo just annoys me every time I see him nut at least he has spared me the agony of seeing him in a ponytail but for god's sakes man, try and keep is simple or do they not tell you off

Nedved again apart from the goal was anonymous but of the midfielders he at least comes forward

Emerson was poor, forget about the stuff that he was invisible, doing his work quiietly, no way, he failed to impose himself on the match

Dp was not too bad, not that good either, but hey, you have a team who prefer to hoof the ball in the air, rather than play in on the ground and his off the ball movement which so many ppl do not appreciate was good

It used to be 1-0 to the arsenal is now 1-0 to the juve

DP was offside on Kahns fumble. And I agree with you on Zlatan, he wasnt impressive at all. He has a big flaw in his game: his ball reception. It always seems to bounce away from him. What I do like, however, is his involvement in the team play, he tries to get the ball and do something with it, a lot of plays go through him, and, IMO, when he learns not to hold up the ball too long and pass it properly, he's going to be a great assistman as well as striker. Also, his height is a great asset, he gets all long balls we send from the defence, great jumping ability.

Oh come on, he didn't play that bad. He was able to contain Za Roberto, which is a hard task for most defenders. Also he came up against Ballack a few times and completely stuffed him. I'm pleased with his displays so far.
