Thuram is a liability in central defence make him play R back again and put zambrotta back in the left,i admit i wanted to see zambrotta at R back but it is not working at all,put camo in as a playmaker and play the trident

i thought so last year he made a few mistakes that he was lucky to get away with,now i am more convinced. if he cant play right back then we should part company with him now because kovac is a better defender and cannavaro said before the season started we needed a new centre back will moggi listen to him now?

what mistakes Thuram did?
most people are biased just because of his age,
dont forget he was injured,
neither Covac was perfect from the beginning,
as a defender u need some time to adapt in the team,
and what if Covac and Canna cant play as RBs they sould leave us too?

thats not my point. yes kovac has not been outstanding but thuram prayed for the chance to go to centre back from the right and has hardly covered himself in glory since,regardless of his age i worry he will make a costly mistake

oh and i have seen him pushed out to right back and he looked far more comfortable than any of our current players bar zebina,so while zebina is out we could put thuram to emergency right back and pop kovac into centre,you see my point now????

i agree for Thuram as an emergency only back up solution,
that would be ideal for this kind of games,
this is what i wanted to see with Milan too,
but i cant understand why u think Thuram will make more mistakes than Covac in the center,
IMO thuram did well in the center last years and he is not finished,
people, not u, tend to blame Thuram for our defensive problems

i rate thuram i honestly do but i believe with another cb beside cannavaro we could be stronger and at the moment thuram would be better at r back as we really are struggling there i wil put my hands up and admit i was wrong when i said i thought zambrotta should play r back and chiellini at left back,it is not working as well as i thought it would. as for our defensive problems it is not any one players fault but more the overall attitude of the team

i wanted to see the Zambro right, Chiellini left,partenship too,
from the beginning of the season,
i believe Cap choosed the wrong games to give Chiellini a chance,
he sould do that instead of experimantating with Blasi against weaker enemies and smaller pressure

yes, this match is not crucial giving the fact that we can still qualify to the next round even if we lost.. HOWEVER, it is crucial to gain our confidence back.. some dignity to boost us in Serie A and the CL.. we need to win.. no, we need an outstanding win to send a big "SHUSH" to all who underestimate the team.. specially its own fans..

we would get killed with this formation. Camo cannot be played in the Right in a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 formations.A player like balza or chiellini or zamo have to play in it.

A tie should do the trick. In that case we would only need one win in our two games against Brugge and Rapid Wien, which shouldn't be a problem.

totally,why did he waste time with blasi at right back if we were going to use zambrotta at RB he could have had afew games with camo to work an understanding and chiellini could have had more match time to find has feet in the team instead of throwing him to the lions

If Capello is thinking like that on getting one point and relying on a win in another game, we are doomed. Bayern will take the ball to their playground and play with us the way they want.

I agree abt the formation.Its ideal for the game.Hope capello has the same thoughts.

We will need Chiellini's physicality in the back.As well as his height.

I hope we could take advantage of their weaknesses, as they jsut came back from a very hard fought win against Fc Cologne.They were 1-0 down.I know we're not physically better than them or anything.

But i have a good feeling abt this game.
