No I am not...I don't drink:p

Ok here are my justifacations:

Chimenti: Lets face it football is all about entertainment. I am sure at some point there was a circus tent near Dele Alpi, and Chimenti was shipped to Alpi by mistake...Kinda like the knotts county mistake....It just stuck!

Kovac: He is German

Legro: He is a burden like no other. Isn't this what Crapello Cherishes in his players? (think Zlatan)

Biri: He is injured

Pessoto: whenever he doesnt know what to do....he crosses the ball.

Olivera: Just part of the ingenious rotation strategy, we have to give him playing time

Neddy: The saviour

Blasi: His name just sound funny.

Giani: Isn't this what we call depth?

Zlatan: Irreplacable

Zalayeta: Maybe, just maybe he could pull a Real ***Crap crosses fingers**

:p:p
:rofl: Post of the year :rofl:

I think we should go with one of the following formations:

----------------Boneffoe/Abbiati
Zambrotta--Thuram----Cannvaro--- Chilieni
------Camoranesi -- Vieira ---Emerson
--------------------Mutu
-------Trezeguet--------Del Piero

Capello has to put a player behind the strikers. This is whats happening lately:
We play Camoranesi Vieira Emerson Nedved.. Now nedved is not 25 anymore. He cannot play a 100% free role. Meaning he cannot go from left to centre everytime (covering to places). My thoughts are either fit neved as a Offensive midfielder behind the strikers OR just put in a younger on form Mutu.
Playing with the above formation which is 4-3-3 (or else known as 4-3-1-2) is very creative in my opinion.
Camoranesi and Zambrotta will be working on the right. Chilieni will be doing the left and Emerson covering for him everytime he attacks. Plus Mutu will drift to the left to help out there along side with Del Piero.
Vieira breaksdown their attack and is not so much worried about attacking himself. Just get the ball to Mutu.
With a similar formation we were quite live against Sampdoria.
I feel that if we ever want to compete for the CL we have to play this way. Remember this is the formation that got us the CL 10 years ago.
What do you think guys?

i think u r right but Trezequet ruined our hopes to see smth like that(3-1 isnt 3-0),
now Cap has the guts to show up and state we were unlucky,
that means with the proper luch his PERFECT formation may never loose,
so he wont change smth new:down:

Bring back the old school...bring back Trezegoal and Dp...:touched:
To tell you the truth you can't put the whole blame on Zlatan. I am staring to realize that one of the reasons of Zlatan's low performance is the lack of a play maker.
But I do believe that the most suitable for tuesdays clash is Del Piero Trezeguet with Mutu straight behind them as a playmaker/offensive midfielder.

Just a reminder:
----------------- Peruzzi
Torricelli --- Ferrara-- Clechowood -- Pessotto
-------Conte --- Paolo Sosa --- Deschamps
--------------------------------Del Piero
------------Ravanelli-----Vialli

I mean look it now:
Peruzzi --> well no one of our on form keepers can complete but we have Buffon (please come back).
Toricelli --> Zambrotta
Ferrara --> Thuram
Clechwood --> Cannavaro
Pessotto --> Chielini
Conte -- Vieira
Paolo Sosa --> Camoranesi
Deschamps --> Emerson
Vialli --> Mutu
Ravanelli --> Trezeguet
Del Piero --> Del Piero :cool:

I think its a winner.

Our game is just too slow and we lack fast team work in building attacks.
I really admire our forwards. All of them.. They are scoring goals from minimal chances.
few years back, nedved was younger he was capable of making the fast sprints on both the side and centre this was keeping our game from getting too slow. Along with Del Piero no holding the ball too much (compared to what Zlatan on and off keeps on doing) and the availability of other attackers who are capable of fast counter attacks e.g. Divaio and Salas (not saying that they are better rather faster).
The problem is we are playing without a playmaker.
Nedved is getting out of shape and it is unfair to him and to the team to put lots of loads on his shoulder. Lets take Maldini for an example. He used to play as a Left side back, infact was the best LB in the world. Now he got old, he cannot keep up with going up and down the field so he is playing Centre back position. Same as Thuram's case.
Tonight against Milan we got only ONE CHANCE. The socre sheet has one goal in our favour. What does that tell you? We have terrific forwards lacking supply.
The combination of Nedved getting old, Vieira and emerson (not playmakers and slow themselves) Ibrahimovic delaying the ball caused us not to create anything.
The best time the team looked during the Milan game was when both Mutu and Del Piero were playing. It is just fair to say that they are both on form and team deserves a renevation in formation or we might find ourselves empty handed. Not even a Coppa Italia.

Thuram - Kovac - Cannavaro - Zambrotta
Camoranesi - Emerson - Vieira
Mutu - Del Piero
Trezeguet

:dazed::dazed::dazed:
Sorry, I meant Abbiati or Chimenti or Bonnefoi or whatever lame excuse for a keeper we have. I miss Buffon so much.

Let Capello keep his brilliance and let him get sacked.
Sounds good to me. I don't care what Capello has won in the past, I don't want a coach who doesn't even consider form when selecting his team and isn't open to new ideas.
