yes we are 1. for sure!! but somehow i also don't want to lose our clean sheet record! but ok what matters is to be right in the important stage of CL!

clean sheet is good but the pretty thing that will give us points in the next matches is to sideline the key players...even i hope B team can help ....even i feel not....coz they are not solid infront of Chevo verona so Ajax:frown:

I think we should at least give Zlatan the 2nd half to play against his former team. This match means so much for him.

I think Zlatan should show something to ajax
there's no point really. I think the players who have played pretty much every game (that includes Zlatan) should get a rest to be 100% for the game against Inter

We can rest our players b4 playing the Inter game. With Zebina coming back, our defence fortress is back and our players will be fit. Let the reserve players play these 2 games and the 1st team can prepare to kick Inter's marvellous record of having 10 draws in Serie A without losing a match.

Or is it 2 consecutive yellows?

Cos Walter Samuel was suspended after collecting 2 after his game against Roma.

Guys, I found some news bout Ajax atm, which may be rather pleasing to us.

    Ajax count the casualties
    Tuesday, 16 November 2004
AFC Ajax midfield player Steven Pienaar could miss the rest of the UEFA Champions League group stage after suffering a knee injury in Sunday's Eredivisie game against Feyenoord.

    Ligament trouble
Pienaar damaged the medial ligament in his left knee during the 1-1 draw in Amsterdam. The 22-year-old will be sidelined for two to four weeks, ruling him out of the Group C trip to Juventus FC on 23 November and making him doubtful for the home match against FC Bayern München on 8 December.

    Question mark
Ajax captain Rafael van der Vaart was injured in the same game, limping off with a medial ligament problem in his right knee. The 21-year-old forward has withdrawn from the Netherlands squad to face Andorra on Wednesday and there is a question mark against his availability for the matches against De Graafschap on Saturday, and possibly Juventus three days later.

    Head wound
A third casualty of the Feyenoord fixture was defender Nigel de Jong. The 19-year-old required eight stitches in a head wound above his right eye following a clash of heads. If his recovery goes to plan, he should be fit to play against De Graafschap.

And thanks Dominic for clearing that doubt for me.

lol let's hope that the Ajax players fail to recover in time. We must thank Feyenoord for injuring all their key players, making them unavailable for us :D
