The people at Juve social media team are doing a fine job jinxing the team. Every time they post a cringe worthy warmup video, Juve play bad. Solution? Just stop making them. How hard is that?
I fucking hate their videos , #doitforgigi #timeisnow blla blla .

Some people here seem to have forgotten that tactical discipline, hard work and grinta are what brought us back from 7th place finishes to to the cusp of 7 successive scudetti and a European heavyweight.

we were never flair and fancy.

We fucked up big time. 2 goals up should have been game over but we chose to sit deep and defend for 80 min and poorly managed the game.

We should be able to win in Wembley. Would be a second disgrace if we dont make it through
And now why do you realistically think it would be a different result next time, considering how we chose to throw away a two goal lead?

Well it’s all been building up to this moment. The wheels are falling off.

Juventus has been playing disgusting pathetic loser football since 2013 with the exception of 2015.
I find it HILARIOUS how some members in here think matuidi would solve our problem, nope not even close. The problem is with our game plan and mentality.

There is no other top team in the world who even THINKS about playing their fullbacks and defensive midfielders as wingers or a 6’4 striker who has no technical ability as a winger solely to overpower opposition fullbacks and track back and defend with ‘grinta’.

What a JOKE of a game plan we have and I thought after that CL final humiliation we would learn and solve the problem.

Also there’s a lot of delusional idiots in this forum that I notice fanboy over certain players and hate on others....
Particularly khedira mandzukic and on the other side of the spectrum bernardeschi and bentacur

Well I’ve figured it out.... if you notice mandsukic and khedira while hardworking physically imposing players have little to no talent when it comes to pure football skills like passing, dribbling, trickery, finesse, and touch. While bernardeschi costa and bentacur actually have talent pace skills you know slll the good stuff

So the way I see it..... people love and defend mandzukic and khedira bcuz they see themselves in them..... they see a hardworking loser bitch n1gga who had to drag his knuckles and fight for everything in life aka their life story

Then they see bernardeschi costa and bentacur... guys who remind them of their bullies... guys who were born with talent, money, looks.... guys who would fuuuck their crush in high school while they got shot down repeatedly

So as you see these hardworking ‘grinta’ obsessed losers defend mandzukic to the death and hate guys like bernardeschi and costa who remind them of past traumatic experiences like the talented #7 who turned their dream crush girl into a toaster stroodle years ago

Back on topic.... this team will continue to be humiliated in Europe until the philosophy is changed.... defensive football is finished

7-2 on aggregate in 2015 and 2017 finals....

who could be this guy?

we need to fondly remember those times... and let them serve us as a reminder that we need to evolve and go beyond our limits. Hardworking and grinta is fine... but without intelligence and talent.. we will be stuck in the grinta juve who can only win in low level serie A, while getting manhandled at home and in finals by the totenhams and madris of europe

Zidane, Del Piero, Nedved, Platini

I would also disagree that grinta was the main reason behind our turnaround in 2011/12. Our best and most important player that season was Pirlo, and he was all about the technical ability and skill.

It’s nice when a player has grinta and puts in the effort, but this isn’t wrestling. At the end of the day, 9 times out of 10 the more skilled team wins.

You need a blend of both

Although Spurs have the advantage, some pundits and fans are already looking ahead to the next round.

Juve players and fans should be pissed heading into Wembley. Instead of putting Spurs to the sword by going up 3-0 or 3-1 at HT, now it feels like the overconfidence has swung toward Spurs.

If Juve are men then they better show up and take notice otherwise they deserve to be out.

True, but doing things like playing Mandzukic on the wing is going way overboard and putting way too much emphasis on “grinta”

It’s also much easier to make a skillful player tough than it is to make a tough player skillful.
Hopefully Costa, Dybala, Higuain start. Should Juve need a goal, Mandzukic or Bernardeschi can come in for whoever Allegri starts at CM with Pjanic and Matuidi.

It doesn't work as simple as this, not all players are required to have skills the way you interpret it. Have a look at Real's midfield with Kroos, Modric and Casemiro; one wouldn't say Casemiro has 'skills' although he has for the purpose he has and he brings balance.

One can have quality but not be technically talented as well, some types of players have different purposes.

Having grinta and being tough also can't be learned by everyone.

This was an uncharacteristic mistake. We don't usually do mistakes like this. If he have a good game we should be able to overcome spurs.
