:agree:

He also just isn't quick enough to keep up with a winger like Robben anymore, was beaten multiple times. Alex Sandro's athleticism would be appreciated against Robben.

That comment though

References Arsenal losing to Barca many times and still attacks them... How'd that work out yesterday?

Worst example ever.
Kinda felt for arsenal. after juve the french acestream went straight to the arsenal game. They had SO many chances and wasted, and then got killed off on the simplest of counters

Barcelona was bad, and they still fucked it up

The football is made of Laws, some you interpret, some you apply.
Player standing in front of goalkeeper is offside. No interpration, as simple as that.

Vidal moves his arm and open his palm: clear intention to block the ball. You can argue as much as you like, but if you read the Laws of football book, that is a penalty. If you have good memory, Genoa was awarded a penalty for an identical foul by no less than Vidal himself. And we didn't argue bacv then, it was a penalty there and it was a penalty last night.

One thing I am struggling with is also why so many people on this forum are talking us down (not talking about you Orgut). All the Italian media, most of the world media are praising our amazing comeback and carachter, so have done our opponents but people on here are crying like ladyboys
.

Grow a $#@!ing spine or go and support Arsenal, Inter or other spineless gits. Seriously, you don't belong here because you have fundamentally failed to understand Juventus and its spirit.
:Agree:
I think we will surprise them in Munich!
The result is not a good one but if you look at the game you realize something... They are not unbeatable and more than that they have a weakness - Their defence isnt wc and I`m not even talking about players in their defence but as for their stance and their organizing!
We should have attacked them from the start but maybe this result would even be better as now that we dont need to sit and wait we might play the way we need from the start!
Remember when we were in a good position in the group stage (drawing in Munich the same group stage) Bayern came to Turin with a must win to qualify while we were qualifying if we just draw at home - It ended 4-1 to Bayern!
I predict an intense game and a very physical one in Munich with only one goal coming from an A.Sandro assist scored by their former CL champion Mario Mandzukic! They will still have more possession probably even much more as their whole game was always a possession game and now with Guardiola...

If you ask me before the game I would have said Bayern will go through comfortably but this game made me realize we can do it!
They are obviously a better team but they are not unbeatable!

True, but still not a penalty. I think there was a foul on Bonucci, though.
Are you talking about Bayern 2nd goal? If you are then its not up for a debate... It was a clear foul and no one Juve fan or hater would doubt it!
The ref overall performance was disgusting!

P.S I always felt we are being mistreated by refs in the CL
They are just ignoring fouls on us

I saw that too... I think it's for Europa and CL...

2013-14) EL Rof16: Fiorentina 1-1 home, 1-0 away win
2002-03) CL QF: Barcelona 1-1 home, 2-1 away win
1997-98) CL QF: Dynamo Kiev 1-1 home, 4-1 away win
1994-95) EL SF: Borussia Dortmund 2:2 home, 2-1 away win
1972-73) CL QF: Ujpesti 0:0 home, 2-2 away (away goals)

That's all I could find. Apparently we don't draw at home in European knockout rounds very often... :D

Watched again the last 30 minutes and we were majestic. That grinta, forza raggazzi we can do this.

:agree:

I don't get anyone saying this performance was a disgrace or embarrassing... Sure we had a very poor first 60 minutes, but we more than made up for it in the last 30 minutes. Most teams would give up down 2-0 with 30 minutes, amusingly enough many forum members did, but I'm super proud of this team for showing all that heart, determination, and grinta, to fight back like they did and absolutely dominate the last 30 minutes.

Just another example of how we can play with any team in football.

If we don't win the second leg I'll be disappointed. It is no excuse that this is Bayern. The reason I say this is cuz it is our fault we are paired with Bayern. If we had drawed with sevilla or defeated bmg once we would have won the group and faced dynamo. The only way this CL campaign can be considered a success is of we correct our error and make it to the QF by defeating Bayern.

2-2 is a bad result for the first leg but I am proud of the grinta we showed fighting back like that. We have to win in Munich, no excuses, be heroes, play like the last 30 minutes in the first leg.

It baffles me how some members here believe there's a huge gap between Bayern and us.

We fucked up by giving them too much respect but we also showed we're capable of taking the game to them.

I still believe we can beat Bayern. Obviously they're favorites because they got a favorable result in the first game but this Juve team has enough quality to cause an upset.

Thats called beeing naive, and nothing wrong with italian mwntality if you execute it right.

Consider supporting a different club
I personally enjoy a great defense display. Well organized defending, well timed tackles and interceptions. When executed right is a joy to watch, specially when you get a goal on the counter attack.
