Our set pieces were disappointing as well , we should be more threatening with the height we have but i felt like Bayern we doing better with their dead balls. Even the free kick from Hernanes and Cuadrado were ruined.

whats wrong with bayerns second goal? i see italian media claimed it should have been disallowed too?
the game leaves hugh regrets. and i am not talking about the pk or the offside goal. both calls are pretty close and could have gone either way. lets not complain about that, sometimes you get calls your way sometimes you don't.
i was really pissed about how we approched the game, as we sat way to deep. bayern is a great team but also vulnerable to pressure. you could really see after we scored that they had a lot of trouble. we should have attacked their defense much more. well too bad that careceres and alex sandro were out cause we could have fielded a much higher line cause of their pace. with evra and licht on the wings we were vulnerable to counters. still pep outsmarted max with his decision to play vidal in a 3 man defence and put lahm in midfield

btw if that was vidals best game for bayern, we are better off with the 40 mil. nearly costed a pk and got fooled by mandzu when he was under pressure

I recent Juve for screwing up that last group game (Sevilla, wasn't it?), we should be facing Shitty and not Juve. A great team is going out earlier than it should and you robbed us of our chance to teach the oily f4cks a lesson :-/

lets hope both teams can field their best XI next time and we see another great game.
i think we still have a 40% chance of qualifying. if we dont suffer from another mental issue

Of course but as far as a 'transition' year, you really can't complain. The future is bright if we can keep these youngsters together and make the right moves in thr mercato.
that's my impression as well. We have a good foundation here, easily within the top 4 teams in Europe

He wasn't even half of his Juve self. If that's his best for Bayern, I'm afraid you guys overpayed terribly.
He was outstanding yesterday you have to admire ;) Best man on the field by far imo
Honestly, Hernanes really surprised me. He made a huge difference. But how bad was Khedira? I've read he is playing great in Italia but that was the Khedira we know in Germany ;)

indeed. you have a almost final like game in juventus vs. bayern...
...and then you have those Europe league games like wolfsburg vs. gent and zenit vs. benfica
where two shitty teams battle each other :sergio:

This might not be the Vidal from 2 years ago, but that Vidal isn't needed here.
He doesn't work in more advanced positions like he did against Juve because the playstyle is completely different. In the Alonso position he can limit to easy passes and do what is needed the most by him, break up play, fight and intercept. He did that enough yesterday and was a real help. No need for him to go in hopeless dribbles more advanced up the pitch. Leave that to Thiago.

You mean the one that was your best player in EURO2012? ;)

I feel bad for him for having so many injury problems. He didnt have a proper preseason with the team, has very frequently injury problems through out the season and he still managed to settle in well here. Imagine him if he arrived here healthy and wasnt injured so much...
