Solid points, the one I wory most about is 3. When they attack from wings, the rotation of pogba, marchisio especially ( to help defenders) is the delicate factor which will control how much pressure they are able to apply in our half and especially on the counter..we need to take the match to them, can't sit back..keep the ball in their 3rd and that defence will crack..wouldn't be surprised if vidal got a couple of yellows..

Watching their highlights vs Darmstadt. They're so damn good. Douglas Costa is unreal.

i still hope he makes it on the bench, even if we only could play him for ≈ 30 minutes. would be a great sub to have, especially since i am not sure evra has the stamina to go the full 90 minutes.
Me too, but I guess we'll see.

Its gonna be tight. Their pressing doesn't bother me as we always look so calm under pressure even whenBuffon has the ball .

I don't think we even need to rely on counters or shit like that, we just need to play our game and I think we'll win on Tuesday.

I think this match is really going to be key. I believe we can hold Bayern to a low score probably lose by a goal...but we really need to take advantage of how good this team is in there Juve stadium and bring a defendable lead there

I'm expecting a very close game with a narrow win for us. I don't think that there is a chance for a big victory for any of the two teams. Even with a negative result like 0-1 or 1-2 we still have a chance in the second leg because there is so much time until then and everything can happen.

That said I agree that this game is crucial for so many reasons and I hope we'll see a great match which will be remembered for years to come :flag1:

I only hope Mandzukic will start over Morata, but the Spaniard will be more useful on the counter.

We will sit back and they will come at us. The most important thing is to sting them hard so that they get cautious thus we disrupt their game plan and try to impose ourselves. Otherwise it could be a very long night. This is a game where hopefully everything Cuadrado touches turns to gold in their half of the pitch. Everything Pogba shoots turns into a rocket on target. Every Dybala dribble elicits a card. Every Bonucci through pass finds Mandzukic. Every cross floats dangerously. In other words we need to turn up big time.

I think they will avoid getting countered, pep might take a different approach, they will be very careful and might have thier inferior CBs not push forward too much so they can play safer..if we cant counter as much we need to use the width and switch constanly and open holes..they are not nearly as good as madrid..This is Dybalas biggest match for us, they will likely mark him but his movement even without the ball is very important..it's a wildcard kind of match..got my money on an outside marchisio shot 1-0 rite kingkongkahlua? :)

Who are they? Can't be Bayern.

Terrible scheduling to have return leg after like what,26-27 days ? If the 2nd leg was next week,i would've been confident of knocking them out but return leg is in a month's time so still plenty of time to recover for them even if they manage to lose the first leg. They'll have lots of time to regroup and bounce back.
We just gotta be calm about this.I also dint like Morata running his mouth off about how Bayern will face hell at J-stadium.That was some Napoli-Roma-esque stuff. Our actions have spoken louder than words in Serie A and i'd like if we maintain the same profile in Europe too.
