Watching the highlights again, much more relaxed this time.

What an amazing performance, can't say that anyone of the boys had a bad game really.

Strangely confident going into the return fixture but I'm not gonna get ahead of myself
I remember Del Bosque going crazy on the bench doing the card gesture to the ref.

Was it a yellow card though or did the ref juSt succumb to the Madrid pressure?

Well, thanks, but: first off this is an older version of the rules, I think you meant to link the newer one which has the addendum that "In addition, all yellow cards expire on completion of the quarter-finals. They are not carried forward to the semi-finals."

However, this is still confusing, because earlier it says that a player will get suspended following any "subsequent odd-numbered caution". Cards getting wiped doesn't mean you can't get two cards and have an "odd-numbered caution" situation in your hands during the two semifinal legs. So unless the count of the cards also gets reset (which isn't explicitly stated), then the rule is still ambiguous.
I think it's pretty clear that cards being "wiped" mean that they don't count to anything any longer. In any case, Chiellini will test this rule for sure, so let's wait.

Hmm.. I think the media were lazy and didn't do their jobs in the sense that many journalists apparently didn't know how good we were. At least in Belgium and Holland.

As for Real.. I think they almost showed too much respect. Sergio Ramos in midfield was the choice of a scared coach. Ancelotti being Italian and having in him a holy fear of Juventus certainly is partly responsible for that.

Still in awe of our victory. Very hard fought.

They looked superior technically... but something that always characterizes a good Juventus team is its grinta and physicality. We had it in spades yesterday. Definitely real got surprised, as they thought we would be the same team under Conte
