Tough game, they are so organised and hard to break down. I didn't think we'd turn it around but thankfully we have a player like Dybala who can create something out of nothing.

Just shows that it can be worthwhile hitting shots from distance occasionally, anything can happen from them.

good win , but we need to fix our defense asap ....
thing is that besides that complete blackout from 4-5 players at the same time, our defense was pretty solid. it's our attack that was the most worrying thing tonight. we basically played 89 minutes right at the edge of the opponent's penalty area, and we created next to nothing. those two great shots by dybala and sandro saved our ass.

So this is why we've won 2 matches all season thus far by more than 1 goal?

Clearly something isn't working.

Yea PI, I agree so far it hasn't worked but I like Sarri's strategy better. Sarri the offensive manager while Max more defensive so the chain smoker needs play his game. And still might not work out. Though I think Sarri knows his strategy won't be maximized until the MF gets a few changes in the starting 11.

Odd performance. Some players had good individual performances, but as a team we got a lot wrong. I put that on Sarri. Trying to play through the middle was almost comical in it's naivety, but it was more annoying than anything.

Bonucci was crap and generally the defence looked as disjointed as it has been, and this against a team with not a lot of threat.

As Ive said on halftime, we will turn this around ;) Tbh We didnt play well against opponent several levels bellow us, we looked slow in build up and out of ideas in the final 3rd. We were predictable with most of our play going through Cuadrado but seeing how their left side was the weakest part of their defense, it paid off. We fully deserved our win in the end. Matuidi should stay out in games where we need more technical players to break opponent down. He seemed completely out of place.

Let's stop kidding our selves, we are not CL winning material.
We will fail and it will be miserable.
Without Chiellini we lack defensive solidarity, we play without an AMF and our forward line remains unlinked and unfed by our midfield.
As expected Ramsey and Dcosta who could help us go around that, will spend most of the season injured.
And as a results, our forward line massively underperformes.
With such pitiful defense. We should be trying to always score two goals for their one. And a two goal lead means nothing.
We need to step up at a level that we win such teams 4-2, 4-1...

Yes #10 with 2 goals gets plenty of MOM votes but love Cuads effort for 90 minutes.A man possessed.

Both matuidi and Khedira need to be benched

It was frustrating seeing the forwards with the back to the goal and 15 minutes left. Then BOOM

Great goals from Dybala, deserves the MOM

But Bentancur, a close second. What a champion!

Our attack has been worrying much of the season thus far. We have less shots and less goals than at the same point in our horrendous season last year. A few bright spots, like Napoli and Leverkusen matches, but on the whole, we aren't even close to being some freescoring, dominant attack right now.
