Oh man, how beautiful it would be Tevez to score around min 93rd after Messi misses a couple of good chances.

Or wait, Messi doesn't miss? He scores every time he touches the ball I heard? Is it true?
I don't know about scores....he punishes is what I heard.

Milan trashed Barca 4-0 as underdogs in the 1994 final with both Baresi and Costacurta missing.

:klin:
What did massaro do? Scored the first or was it all 4 savisevic? :D
Tbh i only remember parts of that match, mainly that crazy curler savisevic scored basically ended barca. I only watched that game because my brother had a big bet on milan that night.

Me too, I had a huge bet on Milan and I remember the hype about barca being similar to what to their hype nowadays. However, they were choke artists back then and I am hoping they go back to their usual selves.

Tevez the man to watch, says Mascherano

The Argentine has warned his team-mates about his compatriot and feels Juventus' disciplined style of play makes them a difficult opponent.

Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano has singled out Carlos Tevez as Juventus' main threat ahead of Saturday's Champions League final in Berlin.

The 31-year-old has been the star of the club's campaign, with his goal helping to fire them to Serie A and Coppa Italia success.

Tevez and Mascherano played alongside one another at Corinthians and West Ham, as well as for Argentina, and the midfielder knows all too well the qualities of his former team-mate.

"Tevez is a top player, a magnificent centre-forward and, above all, a player who likes to win. He's made for these games," Mascherano told the official Uefa website.

"We have played against each other during Boca v River games, during Manchester United v Liverpool. We have played together as well.

"Our paths in the beginning were quite similar but then he went to Manchester and I went to Liverpool."

The Argentina international added that the Juve's disciplined style of football could prove to be a difficult tactical web to overcome on Saturday.

"They have that Italian competitive edge," he added. "It is always difficult to overcome that because they are very, very competitive. They are very tactical. They understand football and on top of that they have a lot of talent.

"It is not a traditional Italian team. They play like Italians but they have a lot of talent, they know how to attack and they can play in different ways. They have lots of variety and that makes them very difficult to play against."

Mascherano joined Barcelona from Liverpool in the summer of 2010 and admits he initially struggled to adapt to his new surroundings.

"It was difficult in the first few months but I've always believed that training with great players makes you a better player and that's what has happened to me.

"Obviously I am never going to have the quality of Sergio Busquets, Xavi Hernández or Andrés Iniesta, but I can deal with situations that before I would have struggled with."

I hope I`m wrong about it but I was right about the Real Madrid games earning cash in the process (peanuts but still cash)...
Chiellini will be missed I saw him as the guy to hack down Messi outside of the penalty area when we need to do it...
I hope I`m wrong about it but I see Barca as 2015 CL champions...
Anyway just for not jinxing it I put my money again on Juve and will do my superstition thing of ordering Pizza like I have done against Real and Dortmund when we beat them..
Chiellini is injured on our side so its only fair that Messi will be injured on their side... :D
I have never been so excited about a football match as I am against Barcelona but satistics are almost ruling us out
Barcelona won every final except the 94 one
We lost our last 3 finals!
Allegri might have won against Barcelona but it was on home turf and eventually when it mattered he conceded 4!

Actually lets say we go the penalties I still see them as favorites as attacking players usually shoot better...

Hope I`m wrong and we kick their asses but honestly I`m not that optimistic

 unfortunately the midget dont seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
@Trequartista +rep for bringing that up. Made me feel a bit better after hearing Chiellinis injury.
Would be great of all the talks about our defence and Tevez, Morata put on a show instead.

i heard he could dribble circles around prime Nesta, Cannavaro, Maldini, Cafu, Makelele, Gattuso and score on Buffon without putting in any effort

imagine what he could possibly do to us then :scared:

Imagine for a second that Ogbonna starts and puts in the performance of a lifetime...

The sad part is that he actually has the athleticism to match Barca's attacking trio, if he wasn't such a mental midget. :sergio:

Exactly , that's why I would be terrified if he starts :scared: . Even a headless chicked has more brain power than Ogbonna .

Relax guys. We're gonna win this $#@! even with Ogbonna, and it will be glorious.

But really, I'm scared as $#@! if Barzagli doesn't make it. Ogbonna starting the final is nightmare material.

Welcome :)

Great posts, though I'd say that supporting or hating a football team has very little to do with rational thinking. I guess you didn't carefully weigh up the pros and cons of Barcelona before becoming a fan, and neither do most people who hat certain teams or players. It's arbitrary of course, but that isn't a problem as long as you realise it's arbitrary.

In fact, I think sport fandom is so popular exactly because it defies logics and rational thinking.

Also, I love the Fred-Seven debates
Thanks for the welcome. I agree with your post although I think the % of people who realise their hatred for something is arbitrary is way lower than what you think. And as for the Fred-Sven debates, I have to agree. I am a fan already.

and PSG buys him for 50m over the summer. The joy of this happening will parallel winning CL.
