We're all excited and nervous as $#@!. But I really can't understand those of you who expect a win here. That's just crazy. We're up against a better side.

I fancy our chances, but in addition to playing the game of our lives, we will also need that little bit of luck.
We need a winning mentality right now.

We shouldn't attempt, we should win. The odds doesn't matter.

When Djordevic hit the post in the Coppa final, thats when i thought its in our destiny to do the treble.
Barca will miss some real sitters on the way, wait and watch. We're going to come from behind just like the Lazio game

Deep down we all expect and hope for a win even you after all we are Juventus fans. That being said we are ahead of a difficult task and we'll need luck like you said but those who say outright we'll win or we'll lose are ignorant.

Am I really the only one here who feels very pessimistic about this match?

I've had total faith in Juve in all our champions league matches this year so far, even against Madrid I was expecting a win in both matches. Hell, before the second match, I was predicting in my head a 2,3 goal margin win.

But with this final, vs, Barca, Messi, Neymar, Suarez; I feel very very cautious.

I mean, I can see how it feels like destiny. Relegated in '06 after winning the world cup. Coming back to Serie A, having these incredible four seasons, and now returning to the stadium where Gigi and so many other Juventus legends lifted the World Cup. Now he can win his Champions League there, finally, deservedly.

But it's just not how life works, in the end it comes down to those 90 minutes on the pitch.

I don't want to be a downer, but I'm just really surprised at everyone expectations. I'm so glad we've made it this far, that's been a massive success on its own. I'm not saying we should settle for second, but we should be realistic before the game, otherwise people will be heartbroken if we don't win.

Forza Juve. I have faith. I believe we can win. But thank you for coming this far.
I think people are going to be surprised by our attacking potential. The midfield will not sit back and watch Barca have possession.

Allegri has beaten them before and his tactics were affective in neutralising their attacks.

If we show them too much respect on the night then we will lose.

Well, I'm not a Juve player, so whether I believe we will win or not is not important. I'm just a fan who saw us lose our last 3 CL finals, and I will just stay true to what my gut feeling tells me. It's something I need to do in order to keep my sanity intact; to not be left completely traumatized by a defeat. Like 2003, which I still haunts me to this day...

That said, we are a very unique side and we have the ability to really frustrate Barcelona. So I'm definitely not without hope here. I do believe we can win it. But is it likely (as in higher than 50 % chance)? Don't think so. And even chances? In my opinion, no. But our chances aren't microscopic either. To me it feels like a 30/70 kind of scenario.

And I'll take those chances.

As for the coach and the players, though, you're absolutely right: they must take to the field with that winning mentality displayed by that dude in the vid.

no regrets, it was a great season and everyone did great.

We are up to a very good team and play a fantastic football, yet we have the grinta and we will fight for the last sec.

my wish come true atleast by beating madrid.

Finally. The end of the journey and against the toughest rival. We couldnt ask for a better way to end it up. So time to show up.

IMO,,, i dont think that Juve will be able to fully contain those dwarves...so the key to our success will be to minimize the damage as much as we can... but im withAllegri when he said that it will be even more important how we transition from def to attack and how much we are able to press them offensively.

It will eb a difficult task.. but we need to be aware that this Juventus team is a beast unlike any in this CL edition...and Barcelona have not faced yet a determined Juventus. We are not short un quality...and even when going a goal down, we need to believe that we can hurt them. Their defense is beatable if we are on our day...we need to believe in our MVP and Moarata/Tevez...im pretty sure we can do the damage...

the question is, how much damage we will be able to withstand?.

Pirlo have been pretty bad in the recent weeks,,,and apart from the psudo assist today...his passes were shid. Fox sport commentators even were saying that some of his fluffed passes were so simple, it was uneal that someone like Pirlo was missing them. Pirlo should NOT start. We need young fighting legs to survive this.

Vidal- Marchisio- Pogba

Pereyra

or

Pereyra- Marchisio- Pogba

Vidal

should be teh midfield allegri needs to pick. Preferably the first one..as vidal is nto good enought as AM
Good post.I will add that we must have top of the game Pogba. He wasn't in form after the injury .He wasn't bad but he is the one who can make a difference .Yes he contributed to Morata's goal against Real but we need him at top level all game, both in defense and in attack. Not just dribble whenever he got the ball. And we must play united as a team with all the possible concentration for the whole match.

A fair point. But still - imagine this.

A certain Juve fan is reading Tuz. He is getting really pumped up by reading the comments about how great it will be to win this competition. How good it will feel for years to come. How amazing it will be to win it being the underdog that no mainstream media really see as a winner.

This fan have a ticket for the final. He goes to Berlin all pumped up. The game starts and he is a nervous wreck. In the 75 minute the score is 1-0 for Barca and suddenly he remembers what he read in Tuz. He starts seeing the victory and starts singing among the silenced Juve supporters. The bianconeri crowd awakens and starts giving a massive morale boost to our tired warriors. Suddenly Pogba gets the ball and the Juve supporter shouts with all his voice: Shoot. The score is 1-1...

You remember the little deflection from Sturaro that kept us in the game vs Real. One shout can be such a little deflection in our reality. And you understand how much did this little deflection cost Real Madrid, right?

Well, all I have to say to that is:

If anyone of you Juve fans who are going to the Olympiastadion are reading this thread:

MAKE SURE YOU CHEER OUR LADS ON UNTIL YOUR VOICES QUIT ON YOU !! WHETHER YOU'RE AN OPTIMIST OR NOT!

There, problem solved :D

Nah, you didn't convince me that it is worth it. The little deflection is going Barca's way, sadly. Because you didn't expect us to be victors. A shame... :disagree:

There is this nightmare I've had since I was a kid. I have no idea where it came from or how it started or why even at 32 years old I still have them from time to time.

In the dream I'm being chased down a beach by a tuna wearing a bow tie and running on his tail fin. He never catches me and I never gain distance. But he is always there. Always smiling.

Messi is that tuna. Holy fuck I'm scared.
That dream is so random

It's gonna be another week of meltdowns. And probably another 4 weeks after the game if we lose.
I'll probably join some of the meltdowns if we were to get destroyed in this match. I just don't see the point of a meltdown before a match is played, especially over whether one single player starts or not. Relax. Be excited. Enjoy this. Panicking and stressing the fuck out about Pirlo is silly, when we should all be damn ecstatic that were getting to experience the joys of Juventus playing in the CL final again.
